The entrance to the learning is a tenth of a mile south of the golf course entrance.

Please arrive on the first tee ten minutes early. I'll collect the $20 then. Please don't give it to me before-hand so I can more easily keep track. I'll give you your scorecards to keep score then.

I'll be at Whispering Woods around 8:30 to start filling out scorecards.

Remember, if you're going to use the range, get tokens in the pro shop first. The entrance is on Grubb Road by the church and just past a natural gas well. It's not the neighborhood entrance.

We're going to play if it's raining. The forecast right now looks "okay." There's more rain planned for the afternoon with the morning clearer.

      Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)

      Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry

      You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
