Lloyd Cole -- Broken Record.

Any of you remember Lloyd from his heyday in the 80s with The Commotions? He's still making great music. Also a very good golfer and keen student of the game. Proof of both assertions linked below.

I've heard of The Holly Cole Trio, Nathalie Cole, Nat King Cole, Old King Cole, and Bob Cole, but not Lloyd Cole. I do remember Lionel Ritchie from the Commodores.

A couple of bands I like released new albums in the last week. One has a singer who looks like Zach Galifianakis, and the other has a pixie with a voice like a foghorn. I don't see any similarities, but the former (much more popular) band tops the latter's "Listeners Also Bought" list on their iTunes profile, so there must be something. So, in the name of needless hype, here it goes...

Manchester Orchestra - April Fool

Company of Thieves - Syrup

I'm not a particularly big Iron and Wine fan, but I do say "boo" to your criticism of Bon Iver (though, he doesn't really fit into the "workout jams" genre).
