I’m going on the Sunday so no rain then please😀. 3rd time at the open in St Andrew’s. Its not the best course for viewing, the fairways are all higher than the viewing spots, but loads of good grandst

My goodness, I wear ankle socks pretty much whenever I'm wearing shorts and socks, but they don't go with plus sixes (or whatever the pants Justin is wearing today are).

Watching this makes me want to play the Old Course so badly. Just looks incredible. Weird, quirky, firm as hell. Looks like a freaking blast.

Annoying no matter how well you play. Anyone know why? Is it the shared greens and fairways?

They are closing in on five hours now and currently playing 14.

Shane Bacon said it's because of all the driveable par 4s and reachable par 5s being together.  Either way, I'd lose my mind if I was playing this slow.

      First swings at after a 2.5 month forced hiatus. No surgery in the forecast at the moment! Doc said okay to start easing in gently over a few weeks. The effort is barely 30% here but felt solid.  I think my swing changed a few years ago after my right ankle injury (weight shift profile). I wonder if this may bring about another change. I certainly won't pivot on to the knee (left) aggressively any time soon, if ever. Could even be a good thing..heh.

      Slomo video of me working on the arms raising thing in the backswing. I think this is better, albeit I’m going fairly slowly and then stopping. Too darn cold to go outside and I don’t have room to safely make a full motion indoors, so this will have to do till I can make it to the range.
