Hobby: 1.an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupation:

I would say that outside of golf, and definitely ahead of golf would be my Church and church related activities, although I see that more of a lifestyle choice than a hobby.

1) Photography: Former professional, now I just shoot for fun.
2) Road Cycling: more watching/following than doing
3) Cooking: I love cooking and creating new dishes, Italian food is my first love.

Cheers, Allan

ohhh... i forgot cooking... thats gotta be one of my fav hobbies since i dont make a living out of it

I love cooking as well, and I'm really glad I don't make a living at it. People tell me I could be a chef, but I would absolutely not want to deal with what goes on in a kitchen, managing, hiring, buying the food, etc... very happy just to keep it a hobby.

Cheers, Allan

As seen in my blog link below, photography. That's probably the biggest one right now anyway. With two little ones, I don't have time for much else.

Fairways and Greens.

I screen print t-shits as a hobby ... enjoy printing shirts I think are funny ... like iSukgolf and working on a couple Redneck golf shirts ...

Enjoy gaming, and I am moderator on a gaming site that caters to a lot of "older" gamers ...

When back home in Texas, enjoy fishing the bays for Red fish ...

I write a lot. I've written three full-length screen plays and 200 pages of a novel, plus multiple teleplays. Read a lot too. Love Hemingway and Douglas Adams. A religious basketball fan. Watching and playing basketball (any sport, but especially basketball) turns me into a raving lunatic.

I love hunting deer, ducks, geese, pheasants, coyotes and trapping muskrats. I also like fishing but prefer ice fishing over regular. I am also a college football fanatic! Go Irish!

    • Day 22 (23 May 24) / played the weekly nine-hole semi-scramble with the guys.  Solid play - primary focus was on making solid contact with the irons.
    • Day 41: Pitching/chipping into the net. A few full swings with driver hitting Almost Golf balls.
    • Day 568, May 23, 2024 Loooooooong day today. Got some shadow work done with an umbrella.
    • Day 148: 5/23/24 Hit balls on the range measuring ball speed for each club. Recently watched a fitting video where the fitter said he targeted 5 mph ball speed increase for each club.  Mine weren’t quite there. 4 and 5 mph were pretty similar except for 1 ball. Big jump for hybrid, bigger jump for 4-hybrid, and huge change for driver. Swung for the fences with driver and hit them all pretty straight at the end of my session. Several at 111 mph, which is above my normal speed. Finished with chipping release 1 with several clubs.  Good session!
    • Birdied 15 at my home course today and made a birdie the other day at a course I don’t usually play. Will update the spreadsheet once I’m home on my computer.
