If you took your best score on each individual hole on your course, what would be your best ball score be?

I've been keeping this "score" and it is 60 (-11 on my regular course; Par 71).

This means there are 7 holes I have never birdied (no eagles either)

Scorecard keeps this stat for you as your "eclectic" score. Both high and low. Per course.

If you took your best score on each individual hole on your course, what would be your best ball score be? Say, over the last year, you have birdied 10 out of 18 holes and pared the rest. Your score would be 10 under. A few years ago, the course I belonged to kept track and gave a printout at the end of the year. At the time, it was in the mid to low 50's. I think over the year, I ended up having a birdie on all the holes, or all the holes but one.

-24 at a 48 birdied every hole eagles all the par 5's and eagled 2 par 4's

I guess for me Im -1. Ive pared every hole and only have 1 birdie on my course....Man thats sad.

Bumping this topic.  It was, and perhaps still is, a common thing for a player to keep a "ringer" or eclectic scorecard at their home course.  Some would do a "lifetime" card with the best score on each hole during their playing career.  Others would also do an annual card with the best for each hole during that particular golf season.

My career  best for the course I have played most often is -18.  One eagle, one par and 16 birdies.  I think I have actually birdied the one missing hole (#18) but I don't have it recorded anywhere and my memory can be a bit faulty.

For 2016, I have not played the same course very frequently.  The one with the most play (10 rounds) is only -7, so far.

How about everyone else?  What does your "ringer" or "eclectic" scorecard look like for your career and/or for 2016?

-16 (56) for the year.  It may be lower than that, but there are two holes 10 and 12 that I simply can't remember going lower than par on.  I'm sure I have especially since one of them is a 270 yard par 4 (with a green designed by a sadist), so chances are I've put one close enough to birdie from.  No eagles....its becoming annoying, I've lipped out putts, chips, even a couple of approach shots from 100+ yards out on par 4s, but haven't made one.

The original post was for the last 12 months and many of the posters did a lifetime on their course. Some are double digits handicappers and have shot in the low 50s down to the 40's. And a single handicapper has only one birdie and the rest pars. I have no idea how that is possible. I have no idea what mine is since I don't keep score any longer. I do know I had 5 eagles on my home course one year but not sure how many holes I birdied that year, but probably everyone would be my guess as I was playing to a single digit then.

That would be a 52 on par 72 for me as well, eagled 3 of 4 par 5s and only one hole on the whole course that I haven't at least birdied. That darn hole, when I actually get a par on it I feel like it's a birdie!

If you golf enough, especially the same course a lot, it's easy to rack up birdies and such on most/all the holes.

I was a 15 index then, and had not been a member of the course long.

Though I did just update it with a -19 over the last 12 months at my current club as a 5 index.

Thought this meant best ball round by yourself. I dont like going after 2 tee shots, but I've enjoyed playing a 2-best-ball with approach/chips/pitches/putts before.

See original post in this thread for his definition.  Best ball of the year at your home course.

I'm a -12.  Just started playing my home course this Feb. 2016, there are still 5 holes I've never birdied, and I have no eagles.

Since you no longer keep score, one might think this type of discussion is irrelevant.

It would have been if others did not reach out to past endeavors such as lifetime score at their course. I could do a 12 month score but not this year, so I just posted what I did in one year and that was about 5 years ago when I was keeping score.

Toting up all my best scores gives me a gross 59 (par 71 course) on Howdidido. That doesn't have all my rounds in it so probably closer to mid 50's now?

Wish I could do this in one round instead of spread out over 2 years! Mind you, if I could do that in a single round I most likely wouldn't be posting here :)
