This show, after 4 episodes, I'm done with it. Ratings are low and reviews are lukewarm. It is too much debbie downer.

Im trying my best to hang in there with Leftovers but it's getting tough. The show is depressing as ___K but I want to see where this goes. But it's not fun to end each show like

I'm just going to watch the What the Flick post game review and see how it goes.

Right. After this weekend's episode I had to watch a comedy show before I went to sleep because I was just too damn depressed. I do find it to be a fascinating premise though.

This show is almost close to Ingmar Bergman territory in terms of wanting to slit your wrists so you can stop watching. Lindelof loves manipulating your emotions. Six Feet Under was a depressing show - but it was life affirming at the same time. And had its funny moments. And I enjoyed watching it. The Leftovers, no. And I f&)ing hate the Guilty Remnants. Halt and Catch Fire I am enjoying the heck out of but it winks at you with current day references a bit much. The UK C4's Utopia is excellent 4 episodes in. Approaching Game of Thrones / Fargo excellent. There is no way the US remake on HBO will match the UK version to me. Nope.

MANH(A)TTAN. I really like this new show. Loosely based on true events of the making of the atomic bomb. Not from Oppenheimer's pov, we've seen plenty of that but from a couple of rungs down and a look into their domestic lives. Good to see more shows based on historical events.

Just finished binge watching House of Cards on Netflix through the first episode of season two.

Wow. This guy is going to become the Vice President? He's more dangerous that Dick Cheney!

I've been meaning to watch that. I have no idea where I'd find it on TV, but I noticed that Xfinity's website has it for streaming.

I watched it on iTunes. Episode one was free. Guessing probably free on the WGN site and YT as well as most 1st episodes usually are.

Binge-Watched Luther on Netflix. Highly recommend it. Kind of scary though, I would not recommend watching it before bed.

Just noticed that The Killing season 4 is on Netflix. The previous season was solid, so I might watch this one soon.

Been thinking about watching it, but saw a couple bad reviews, so I was skeptical. Would you recommend it?

I think I like it more in theory than in execution. A show that solves one murder over an entire season is a great idea, but The Killing never quite put it all together. The acting is solid and the show always looks pretty nice, but they make a lot of weird writing choices. I dunno. If you told me all of this before I'd ever seen an episode I'd still watch it, so take that for what it's worth.

Interesting. Thanks!

I started The Walking Dead last night. I've had the season 1 disc sitting in my closet for a couple years now and just never gave it a shot. Great so far... watched several episodes in a row before going to bed.

I'm a big fan of Larry David, so Seinfeld and Curb are two of my favorite shows. As for shows with a more serious tone, The Sopranos and Breaking Bad are definitely at the top of my list, too. The Walking Dead is pretty decent entertainment for the most part; I'm not too familiar with other shows currently on air, though. I don't watch much TV that doesn't involve sports.
