Don't agree. I like action, and that is well done. I like corny movies and TV shows, so that is where we may differ.

I love the Arrow, great action,it is supposed to be a little corny.  I'm with you.

Better than Arrow?  That show was so cringe-worthy it was ridiculous.  I watched the first 2 seasons and it was so corny I was repeatedly asking myself why I kept watching it.  lol  I'd probably watch season 3 though just to see if it managed to get worse.

What makes it cringe-worthy?

The acting and story are just all around cheesy.  Manufactured drama all over the place, especially from the sister and mother and I dunno, it seemed like the show jumped the shark about 15 times in the first 2 seasons alone.  I can't think of anything specific since I last watched like last October or so but I just remember watching it thinking maybe it'll take off and surprise me.

I guess I'm a different watcher of the TV Shows based on a comic book, I'm not expecting it to be Citizen Kane.  I think Stephen Amell is fine as the Arrow,I like John Barrowman, Matt Nable  and Manu Bennett as the main villains over the years.  I grew up on these comics and I love seeing how they bring different aspects of the comics to the show.

I guess we'll disagree, don't see the Jumping of the Shark anywhere in the show.  I see lots of explaining the back story and how and why he becomes the Arrow.

Very sad Justified is over. I lost interest during season 4, but eventually got to the last season. Will miss the witty banter and modern wild west mano a manos. Will have to say the show got a great refresh the last season, giving scenes to all the colorful characters throughout the years.

He pulled first. I was justified.

I just watched the first episode of Sherlock on PBS. It was pretty good.

Sherlock is awesome.  Hope there is a Season 4.

This show looks good: Deutschland 83 . Stasi agent goes undercover in the extravagant, capitalist pig West, I guess blows sh*t up. On Sundance in June.

Enjoying a French miniseries: Witnesses . Kind of a mix of Broadchurch, Bron/Broen and just a smidgen of True Detective. Lots of dreary cloudy shots of a beautiful French coast city. Not finished yet, but a tortuous plot so far. On US Netflix Instant. HD is a must.

So many good moments in Game of Thrones. Looks like Sansa will probably meet up with Brienne again. Tyrion saw a ****ing dragon. Jorah got touched by the stone people. Tyrion & Jorah will probably meet Dany. Sansa saw Theon. Samwell talked with Stannis and when Stannis encouraged him to read on, that was awesome. Will there be a scene w/Theon, Sansa, Brienne and Podrick? Dany, Jorah, Tyrion, Grey Worm, Daario? Finally beginning to get a sense of the endgame, the final season of GoT, and it looks like it's going to be amazing. There are "setup" episodes and I'm seeing seasons as "setup" now.

I kinda liked that show. I paid attention to it more than other shows when I played it at night in the background.

      Yes. If you choose to take the ball out of the bunker instead of taking maximum available relief… it costs a stroke.

      I got another one today....Number 17. Par 5 that has water left and right on the layup. I smacked a drive down the left side and got a little lazy on the layup and fanned my 6 iron. With 112 to a crowned green I got it to 3 feet and birdie!  Only 5 and 15 is left for this year!

      Maybe I didn’t explain this properly. Back and front can be confusing.  There was no place in the bunker that didn’t have 2-3 inches of rain water in it, except for a small spot on the slope nearest the pin. If I had dropped there I would be moving 6-7 feet closer to the hole. Since my ball was just inside the bunker, farthest side from the hole, I dropped one club length backward, which brought me out of the bunker. I could not have hit from that deep of water. Are you saying I would have had to take a penalty stroke due to rain water?

      Day 130: Cinco de Mayo Day 7/24 of Full Speed Spectrum training. Difficult training day after struggling to certify my warmup yesterday, and today. Finished 13 mph lower than my training speed on Thursday. Hope to hit some balls today.
