For bonus points tell me what the first three things you'd work on in his swing would be.

I've already got a Scorecard lisence, but I want to play too, I'll just skip the prize.

Guessing handicap is hard, but I'll say 19. Seems to be hitting the ball OK, ball back in the stance, a lot of hand action through the ball, pulling it a lot probably.
Things to work on:

- Deeper hands
- Stopping the hips from swaying in the backswing, left knee moving less towards the right and not straightening the right knee as far. Looks like he is turning too far with the lower body.
- I want to say hip push, but I'll go with the backswing first, right elbow closer and getting rid of the arms twisting. The arms don't seem to be swinging too far, more the lower body. Getting the right elbow down and not twisting the hands would go a long way.

1) Keeping a bit more flex in the right knee
2) work on stopping that right elbow from flying out like that
3) Get him standing a bit more upright, he's a bent to much over at the hip, this will help shallow out that swing

Its hard to say, i have scene people spray the ball but have amazing short game and putting. Its tough with out knowing the 1/3 the game. But it looks like he spends a lot of time trying to figure out his swing on his own. So, i would guess 16.75

I am not much of a swing analyst, but I am up early so I will give it a try.

Handicap - 9.8 Older guy, looks to have been playing for a while. Seems to hit with good power, probably a good short game to offset the swing issues, but I'll bet he is wildly inconsistent at times.

Swing problems - The first thing I see is the right arm bend needs to be corrected. After that, the wrist cock to pick up the club to put it in a baseball position. The takeaway looks okay, but then he does everything he can to get the club up to a certain spot using his arms. This all causes the big lean over the ball, I'll say there are balance issues on certain shots. If you get rid of the arm bend to increase the swing arc and get a better turn, other things should fall into place.

I don't know anything about a golf swing other than how I need to do it, so don't rip on me too hard.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

This is probably one of those guys who has a crap swing but somehow gets around the course well and has a good short game.

1. He's got too much hip rotation and not enough shoulder rotation so he isn't coiling properly.
2. The chicken wing
3. He casts, try to introduce a bit of lag.
4. Get to a proper position at the top of the swing.

Actually this guy isn't too bad, he's got a wonky swing with a chicken wing but he gets to an ok impact position.
I'd say he'd nearly be a sub-10 handicapper.
I could be way off and he might be a guy who can't even break 100 but I'm not sure.

8.5 handicapper?

4.5 is my guess.

The right forearm is horizontal at the top, rather than vertical,
His head moves towards the target and his upper body leans that way,
I could be wrong, but it looks like his right leg actually locks, rather than just straightening.

I already have SC, but I would guess low like Jamo, maybe 3 to 5, or it's a trick and this guys a former pro.

It's a bit like Jim Furyk's swing with the crazy over the top action at transition but the forward swing shows nice position at impact and the follow through is good. I would have him focus on keeping his arms close to his body on the backswing, especially the right elbow to keep the club more in one plane. Left knee is bending back away from target, which causes his head to drop down and gets his spine angle leaning even more forward than S&T; recommends. His shoulder center remains over the ball, which is why he probably make good contact.

Im no expert on anyones's swing but im guessing from the results of the shots(they look dead straight and solid) that the guy's handicap is a 3. Im sure there are some flaws, but he's way better than I am, probably been playing for a long time.

It looks a bit like a set-up to me too. Like some flaws are being exaggerated for effect, but then again, people do tend to hit each position with some deliberation when they're on video.

I think he's a guy with a poor swing that he has had for so long and has been able to time well that has gotten him down to a low handicap.

15.3? He looks like he is striking it nicely, but there are issues at the top of the backswing.
