Today I took my step daughter golfing with her 1st set of real clubs of her very own ... with her "challenges", she lacks muscle tone, balance and coordination, but No One has more fun playing the game than Dani does!
One round with her brings me back to reality and reminds me why I play this game in the 1st place ... For the Fun of It!

She absolutely has the "pose" down pat!!

That's awesome, I think we can all remind ourselves that it's a game, sometimes...and hanging out with family while out on the course is the best thing we can achieve while we're out there.

There are a lot of people here who would like to have some of those positions in their swings.

Thanks for the reminder about what life - and golf - is truly about.

Looking forward to tomorrow's round. Haven't played much in a while so I'm just going out there, enjoy a nice cigar and have fun.

That's awesome buddy! I intend to commit this post to memory so I can recall it this weekend when I'm playing and I start to get frustrated. Soemtimes we all need a reminder that the reason we started playing golf was because we wanted to have fun. Just one question, what's with the jeans? :) jk.

thx for the post
i am sure WE ALL get a little too concerned with how we shoot, instead of remembering why we all started this sport

Dani looks like she has some natural talent

Enjoy these times !

Thanks again for posting!

That's awesome. I really wish my girlfriend liked golfing so we could go out together. I've played with her a couple of times on a 9-hole executive course, and she did pretty well for her first time. But she didn't really take a liking to the game.

Hey Mark, that has put a smile on my face

She has the pose down indeed.

Which clubs did you get her after, the ones form Amazon?

Yeah, we went with the set from Amazon - Golf Girl by Voit for $70. For her they worked out great and she is so proud of them. She informed me last night however that she needs a pink golf glove now ...

I can sure relate to this. I have a Grandson that is Autistic (not like Rain Man but it is a learning disability) and he is a great golfer. He has been able to hit the ball well from the first time I put a club in his hands. I have had not greater joy than playing with the boy and even better being his caddy in some kids tournaments. It is so difficult for him to find something he can do as well as his peers that seeing him excel at this game is one of the most fulling things I do, not to mention how it effects his self image when he beats his buddies.
