I love my Cobra irons but I could live with a set of Callaway X22 Tours. My FT9 is the best driver I've ever hit and I'm very happy with the c-grind wedges. The wedges had a big effect on my short game but I doubt my handicap would change at all if I had a different set of clubs.

Ping. They've always made great irons and putters and although they weren't exactly world-renowned for their driver technology ten ago, that has changed in a big way.
My Implements of Destruction (carried in a Hoofer Lite bag):

I have used Cobra and Titleist clubs for years. It helps that I live i grew up in Acushnet near the factory, but I have tried Ping, TaylorMade, Adams and I always go back to these two. Vokey Wedges and Cameron putters are simply the best.

I used to look down on Mizuno's for no particaular reason. Maybe because I was an ignorant person that thought Mizuno was only good for making baseball equipment. But after trying out my buddies mp-58's, I gotta have some for my next set.

Yeah, you don't have to be involved with golf for very long before you realize Mizuno makes a great product. But I'm a little biased since I've played their irons for years.

It's too bad MacGregor is gone, because I'm really loving my set of MacGregor irons I just purchased, and they always seemed to produce quality clubs. With the given options, I voted for Titleist

So far I'd have to say Adams. If you look at my signature I'm not very brand loyal (I think I have at least one of something from every manufacturer), but I like the feel and the reviews on the long sticks made by Adams. I usually start my searches with them.

Overall, off your list, Callaway.

Hate Nike & TM irons so far. Suck too bad for titleist. Ping has a nice overall lineup too.

Adams & Wilson Staff are real high on my list too.

I chose Titleist, but my full answer is: Titleist or Mizuno for irons, Taylormade and Ping for woods (love the sound of both brands)

TaylorMade for Drivers
Nickent for woods and hybrids
Mizuno for irons
Odyssey for putters
Not specially picky on wedges

I voted Titleist because that is what is mostly in the bag now, but I am not hugely biased toward any. If I was forced to choose only one brand, I could live with Titleist. My other bag has Wilson Staffs and Joe Powell woods. If I was going for a new set of game improvement irons tomorrow, it would probably be Callaway; blades would probably be KZG or Scratch golf. Just don't try to make me give up my old Wilson wedge and putter, ever.

My vote is for "Other"...I will always be a Cleveland guy. I do think I would list Titleist #2 and Ping #3.

Overall-Titleist. I've used their drivers, fairway woods, irons, wedges, putters, and balls. But I also got love for MacGregor, Mizuno, Wilson Staff, Nike, etc., so the list is seriously lacking.

    • Thank you.  I'll cross it off the list since it isn't going to achieve what I want.
    • While it does turn out that both Tiger and Phil are less squeaky clean than I previously believed, I don't think golf quite has the worst in professional sports.  Or maybe they're better at image management.   Obviously I'm not fond of Phil's issue we're discussing in this thread (or his involvement with LIV) or Tiger's choices of how to drive.  I used to really like Dustin Johnson and, even before the LIV situation, we started to hear rumors that he bought more snow than Seward, although I don't think those stories were ever substantiated.  Meanwhile, I did think of Anthony Kim as the "good, bad boy" of the tour for a while fifteen years ago because of his party persona -- and if it turns out the worst he did was show up hung over to play (barring what one thinks of LIV), that's pretty good.  And I'm still happy he found a way to get his life clean. If we contrast that with some other sports I enjoy, I'm sure we could find a nice long list of NFL players that, at one point in my life, I was quite fond of, we get far worse disappointments (to put it mildly).
    • Answering that properly would land me in hot water, so I'm not going to. I don't think that many people would do that. I think that in certain circumstances many people would be willing to overlook someone doing that. But I was really referring to what I assumed was Tiger's transgressions (cheating on his wife) not Phil's.
    • No! Is a large part of the human population selfish, apathetic and cuts corners in the name of self-preservation 'more than they would like to admit', yes. Degenerate, scum, etc?.. no!! Most humans/men would not grope a woman like Phil is accused of doing (I think he absolutely did). That is scum. I mean what % of men do you think would do that? Seriously??
    • I don't think that is true at all. That is off-topic here, I think.
