Anyone have any pictures of trophy wives of tour players? This topic came into mind when watching the 17th and 18th hole of the Barclays. Martin Laird's fiancee Megan Frank definitely qualifies but couldn't find any pictures on the web.

I think this thread is outdated - it seems the younger generation tends to go more for brunette, cuz i was remembering this thread and was wondering what was going on when they showed parking lot pics of guys arriving for their final round - and almost all of them had brunettes lined up.

Is trophy wife the best term? Unless the PGA guys are awfully good actors, it appears most actually love these women. And, the kids come along to the tournaments too, looks like a real family to me.

Granted, many are fine looking women, but I would suggest they're more than trophies. Also, a fair number of these women have some sports background on their own, so they might tend to be more fit physically than the average female. After all, Greg Normal was married to Chrissy Evert for several years, and she taught him how to play tennis.

I don’t think there is a planet in our solar system where Chris Evert would ever qualify as a trophy wife… even when she was young and easy and wrinkle free.

I'd rather see a photo collection of PGA Tour Road Buddies. Wives? How boring.

Why would he be acting? Just because he was sleeping around doesn't mean he hated being with his family.

I was at my folks' home and watched the final round of the Barclays with mom. When the future Mrs. Laird appeared on TV, I asked out loud if everyone on the PGA Tour had a blonde wife. Mom's immediate reaction: "Tiger doesn't."

Greg and Chrissy were barely married a year... but that aside, I agree with the sentiment that they're often more than trophies. Divorce rates among golfers are lower than the general population. Even if you include Colin Montgomerie and Nick Faldo.

Let's be honest. Most PGA Tour golfers are, well, ugly. For every Camilo Villegas there are 4 Tim Herrons. And yet, almost to a man, they have gorgeous wives. While I am sure love enters the equation, success is a strong aphrodesiac. And 100 dollar bills. And television exposure. And..well, you get it.

No doubt about that. All you need is money and the pretty women will come.

you guys are all wrong....its the white belt!!!

Have you seen the "tour tramps" as I have heard them referred to before, these are the ladies there with the hopes of snatching up a tour player or someone with a well funded account. They are usually easy to spot, as someone on the forum referrenced the other day, they are the girls that are not paying attention to the golf and are wearing 3" heels to a wet soggy course.

Agree 100% on this. I was able to carry the player sign at the 1999 PGA at Medinah. Two of the days Billy Mayfair was in my group...he wife was smokin' hot. Have you ever seen Billy up close...he is one fugly looking dude.

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
