Mine is first a tall glass of ice water to re-hydrate, since I walk. Next, I like a tall glass with ice filled with in 1/3rd parts, vanilla vodka, ginger ale, cranberry juice.

I'm always looking for new concoctions, what's your favorite post round beverage?

Usually a 23 ounce draw of Sam Adams Boston Lager. Occasionally I'll have a Glennlivet because I love single malt Scotch.

If it's hot, a Rock Shandy, usually a pint - ginger beer, lemonade, lime cordial (good splash), Angostura Bitters (good few shakes) and lots of ice. Otherwise, I'll go with whatever good ale is on offer.

My Tools of Ignorance:

During the last couple holes, I usually fantisize about a cold Mountain Dew. Unfortunately, carbonated beverages don't feel as good after physical exercise, so what I actually have is either a Mtn. Dew or some apple/orange juice (if we have any).

One or two glasses of water, and then, if heading to the 19th, a Blacksmith (Guinness and Smithwicks), or another good beer from tap (Sam's seasonal, Bass, Harpoon, Watchusett microbrew,...). I also love single malt Scotch, but don't have any right after golf for some reason.

      Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.

      It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
