  1. 1. At what odds would you bet $100 on Tiger to win this week at Torrey Pines?

I chose 7:1, though I was tempted to say 5:1 given his track record at Torrey Pines and the fact that I think he feels he has a lot to prove in 2011.

He's won there 7 out of 12 times.  Vegas has him at 3:1  He is a bit rusty, but he's the only player in the world top five entered in the event.

I said 5:1. That could be a bit of wishful thinking, but oh well. If I had to pick a winner I'd pick Tiger, partially because there aren't a lot of guys in the field that jump out at me (and Martin Kaymer isn't playing, dude's on fire).

I voted 5:1 also (before reading anyone's comments) just based on gut feel.  I'm not a betting man, but I wouldn't bet against him.  He has a lot to prove and his distractions should have really died down.  I predict he goes on a tear in 2011.

3:1

(and yes, before I saw the post of Vegas' odds - lol)

When Tiger has something to prove and he's had time to groove swing changes, if the putter is semi-hot, he is nearly unbeatable.

Plus, he is at Torrey Pines.

Answering the question exactly as it was posed, I would certainly bet $100 ( and more!) on Tiger at 50:1 if I could find anyone crazy enough to give me those odds.

I voted 5 to 1.  I think realisticly he has a better chance than that but I'm not betting a coin flip.  I want to take chance when I have better odds and at 5 to 1, I'd wager a little money.

5:1 Go Tiger! An early win would be a good way to ge the ball rolling early. I hope Tiger plays out of mind in 2011.

Sitting here at home I will say 5:1 If I was in Vegas at the sports book and saw 3:1....... I would probably lay down a hundo just to make watching the event more exciting.

When a company makes a club in the USA I will proudly display their brand here. All of mine were made in china by somebody making $2 a day. Shame on you Mr club manufacture.

3:1

The changes are taking shape and there will be no mega hot Graeme McDowell in the field to stop him this time.

Last tournament his game was close to the point where he won, but not quite so. Without having seen his game for a couple of months it's hard to guess, but I'd give him better odds than on most tournaments last year.

50:1

The ONLY difference between Tiger and anyone else out there on tour is what is between their ears......Tiger doers not have his focus back yet. He's glimpsed it a few times since the car crash and B.S., but he isnt "back" by any means.

He can run on raw talent for a while, I think thats what he's doing right now.

He may NEVER get it back.

Anyone here that has played to their potential so far knows what this feels like. When you possess it, you are almost invincible, but Its a very 'lost' feeling when its gone.

20:1, But I do think he will come back strong this year. I say a major and a couple of regular events along the way.

That's the only difference? Do other players have 14 major championships from which they can draw on, and the experience of winning over 70 times on the PGA Tour? :-P C'mon now...
