You mean Dan is acting like a weak Bruce Wayne, while his masked persona is actually a Batman strength pro level golfer? Or something like that? :hmm:

So my advice to Dan: get a job, recover, refill the bank, enjoy playing at 5-9 HC. It's better than 90% of golfers out there.

I was trying to make a subtle joke. Too subtle. Of course he can't be The Batman. Just implying maybe he has a double life, he's probably working another job for all we know. :-(

I got it, I just thought he wasn't dark and brooding enough for your theory to hold water. Anyway, you could be right about the job, who knows?

I think you mean 10-15 HC. We have already established that his real handicap is probably 7-10 at the moment. Throw in a job and that adds 5 shots :)

Playing to a 12.5? Ouch! To be fair, we haven't seen him play lately. . .

He's probably nursing that bad back, or should be. And with turning pro out of reach now, he could ditch the blue tees and play from the whites.

In response to Dan's most recent blog post, in which he recounts some improvement with his back, I posted the following a couple of days ago and it continues to await moderation:

Dan:

Forgive me if I missed it, but what was the diagnosis for your back?

Also, while you said you cannot practice the full swing, have you been working on putting and/or short game?

Thanks and I hope the recovery continues unabated.

Piling on what his handicap is, I'm not having any part of that, but what's he's been doing is a legitimate question.

God I hope not. I want 4000 more hours to see where it all winds up. More cowbell baby! Maybe we need a prediction contest. Date he hits 10,000. Tie breaker is handicap he ends at.
