Zakira dressed like a HO.  I did like her personality and her as a person........but if you look back..........I did comment on my extreme distaste for her clothing.  I think she represented herself well...except for the attire.

I'm pretty sure I saw Z's uterus a time or two. Pretty revealing duds but I liked her style. Not sure it's appropriate for anything other than that show. Less like golf clothes and more like cart girl clothes.

On Z, booty shorts are not golf attire. Not only is she annoying, but she shouldn't be allowed on any golf course with that getup.

i liked that Z was ultra competitive because i think there's a lot of feelings on the show, right up until she bought her way out. that was pure chicken and it showed that she was all talk.

i thought her outfits were fine, they portrayed an original, unique, and "tough" kinda look.   but yeah, her buying her way out of an elimination round was so weak, and changed my opinion of her being an intense competitor.  it went against, what i had thought at the time, was her character.

In my Grom Stand bag:

didn't she go off about another girl doing the same thing the week before?

her outfits looked silly to me, but were very educational from an anatomy standpoint.

the same people who will complain a guy playing in jeans or a tank top or something are the same ones saying its fine if a female has shorts up her crack...makes sense!

My philosophy on golf "We're not doing rocket science, here."

I guess all the guys posting on here like seeing women over 60 rocking knee length skorts and capri pant on the golf course! Every woman on BB this season is pretty damn good looking and almost everyone has worn an outfit that was not appropriate golf attire. As on course I was at not to long ago states in its dress code "skirts or shorts can be no more that 4" above the knee".  Creamer, Gulbis and Wei all wear skorts more than 4"above the knee.

Atractive athletic women should be able to dress in a modern fashion if they want. My girlfriend is going crazy trying to find where they sell the clothes the women on BB are wearing. All she can find in golf shops is the stuff that the old bats in the womens club wear.

Golf for many years was a punchline for old white guys wearing clothes you wouldn't be caught dead in. Men have moved past that. Time to let the women have their turn it's 2012 boys not 1952.

Some of their clothes are custom made and some are a combo of golf clothes and other sports wear. I'm fairly certain the tank tops and collarless shirts some of them wear are just running and training clothes that they matched to skirts and shorts. I see girls wearing that stuff at the gym. Not going to find it at golf shops.

Good point, but I didn't see the harsh toned posts towards Christina for wearing a wife beater that I did for Z wearing bootie shorts.  IMO, they were both inappropriately dressed for golf, but Z was ripped to shreds here being called derogatory names while others were just "surprised" they let her play in a wife beater and commented that she didn't look very good in it.

while I don't think it was "good" to wear the wifebeater..I think it was still less drastic than what Z wore.  In the end though..we're debating golfers attire which...seems pretty silly, yeah?

I doubt it. You may be thinking of Kelly Tilghman, and even with her it's just a rumor AFAIK.

Let's hope it wasn't a couple of balls to the chin

    • It's from "Every Shot Has a Purpose" which was co-written by one of Annika's coaches. Decent read about reducing uncertainty and committing to the golf shot.
    • Ah, I didn't realize this was about standing over the ball versus time to play the shot. Definitely two different things there. Yea I would imagine being static over the ball/taking a long time over the ball does make things worse in the long run, hence all the waggles guys will do before pulling the trigger.
    • I'm not sure who said it first but I've seen it a lot. There's this "think box" vs "play box" theory. I've also seen it with a planning vs doing line on the ground. The idea is basically you stand away from the ball (a couple feet) and do your "think box". This is where you do your planning, your swing cues, your practice swings (if you believe in practice swings.) All of that is done in the "Think Box". Then you step into your "play box" address the ball and hit it. Sometimes it's done with a imaginary line on the ground. You do all of the think box stuff behind the line. Then once you cross the line you step up and hit it.  Here's Annika Sorenstam demonstrating the "Think box" and "Play box": So, Annika's time over the ball is really short. Because she did all of that other stuff not over the ball, but in her "Think box".  There are lots of variations on this theme. But I think you get the idea.
    • I speak for myself. If I inventory my swing thoughts, swing tempo, optimum muscle tension and rehearse a swing before I take my address, then I pull the trigger reasonably quickly with usually acceptable results. Like a proper program download before deploying it. If I don't bother to by forgetting or just not caring, I am inclined to look for my cues while hovering over the ball after taking the address, while tension builds up and then I fire with a half ass program that is still buffering. I guess that's no better than rolling a dice. In other words, a good pre-shot routine does wonders. I am not advising folks to take 13 practice swings while the flowers wilt waiting for something to happen, but one or maybe two are reasonable and good for you. I am certain hitting half ass shitty shots and making double bogey takes longer than making a par.  My desire this year is to just that as I have not developed a habit taking a practice swing and as a result have tendency to freeze over the ball after address, that is counter productive for both time and result. I think that is what @saevel25 is talking about in the OP.
