was there an official deadline for entering the contest posted before the thread was suspended?

If not, it would be great if that could be communicated. The contest closed an hour before I got a chance to enter, but a good while before the tournament started. Thanks

All qualifying entries must be received by June 13 2012 at Midnight eastern time (New York City, NY time).
