7th row floor seats for Billy Joel in Charlotte when I was 10.  That would have been 1982.  Piano Man performed close enough you can see his fingers move will make you a fan, I don't care what you think about him otherwise.  :)

Yeah it was an amazing show, Roger Waters version of a Broadway play.  All time best concert I ever saw was U2 for the Joshua Tree Tour, 3rd row seats at the Hartford Civic Center.

Never been to one, unless you want to count a show at a pool hall as one.

I like music, I love listening to it. But when it comes to enjoying it, I can't when I'm surrounded by the kind of people the like the same music as I do... odd

The first concert I went to that I wanted was Ozzfest 2000. Ozzy himself, Pantara, Godsmack, Static-X, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Soulfly, Pitchshifter, and more. I am sure many have no idea who most of these groups are, but at the time I was great, for me. Seeing Ozzy before he was too drugged out was awesome. Pantara is always great.

The best part was getting free tickets to Motley Crue and Megadeth. That was the best free show ever.

gross. I hate that metal-y sound. Just not melodic at all.

I have been to 3 concerts that I wanted to go to. Each one more epic than the last.

Started off with rise against, rancid and billy talent when I was 19 about 3 years ago.

Followed that about a year later at epicenter with bush, andre 3000, Papa Roach, but the main performer was eminem (favorite artist ever) Was his first comeback show in america in like 5 years. Still gives me chills.

Last summer I got to see one of the greatest shows ever. LA rising with Rise Against (again), Muse, Immortal Technique and what may have been Rage Against the Machines last show. Rage against was just a little before my time but im so happy I got to see them live. Really amazing show.

Carlos santana, circa 1976, I was 12, at SUNY Binghamton.     My mom would have never let me go if she knew the auditorium would have been filled to the rafters with this strange blue smoke ...

My first concert with my parent was Kool and The Gang sometime during the early 80's. My first concert alone was headlined by Bobby Brown and TLC opened up for him. LOL The last concert I saw was Erykah Badu about a year ago.

+1 on comedy shows.  I've probably seen more of those that I have music concerts, and I've seen a fair number of those.

First concert ever (w/parents - 6th grade) - Kenny Rogers.  Mom was a huge fan of The Gambler.  Kind of funny, but many years later when I was selling commercial photographic equipment in Atlanta, I talked to him on the phone.  As you may or may not know, he is an avid - and quite good - photographer, and he was looking for a background system.  Very nice guy.

First concert with friends - Public Enemy at the USF SunDome in 1988 (IIRC).  Me and my friend that I went with were the only white faces I remember seeing.  When Public Enemy hit the stage, everyone jumped up, including the guy in front of me whose 9mm fell out of his jacket.  He had this mean look on his face when I tapped him on the shoulder, that changed to "OMG... thanks" when I pointed down at the gun.

    • Day 48. Got out at lunch to the range to hit some driver shots. Haven’t had much practice there. Focused on setup suggested by @iacas and found some very playable results. I did try to hit a couple of bunker shots after that with much less success 🙃
    • Got a rare birdie on #18 Par 5.  Drive was good and left me in range of the green.  I was @ 210 from the center and needed @ 180 to clear a hazard area.  Green had bunkers lest, right and on back. had been struggling and most shots were short so I took the 225 club figuring back of green hit well. i did hit it well, @ 229 per SS and dead on—kind at the pin.  Ended up @ 1 foot off the back in short rough and lucky for me it was a back pin placement.  Chipped about 15 feet leaving a 3 feet putt for par which I sunk.
    • Yea, so to clarify for me. I do not feel the clubface much in the swing. I feel the weight of the club. I can feel if I hit the club off the heel or toe. When I try to feel if the clubface is open or closed in the swing, I feel it more with my hands, and less of the clubhead. I would classify majority of my swings as not feeling like the clubface does much of all. It feels like I hold the clubface open. In the finish, it doesn't feel like my left hand faces the ground. It feels more like it faces the sky. I will try to be more aware of this, but it was just the sensation I got when I was making what felt like good swings. For the most part, I was hitting slight draws or slight pushes.  On this golf trip, I had to hit a low 8 iron around a tree to the green. I made an alignment adjustment, and actively try to roll my hands a bit more to get it to sling around the corner. I do have a habit of not adjusting how the clubface comes through impact, and I can still hit the ball straight-ish even moving the ball way back in my stance and trying to swing out more.  Yea, my feels are more hands and arms, less actually feeling the clubface.
