It's a solid motion.

Thank you.  If it continues to go in a good direction with the ability to add speed to the swing, and with a little Evolvr help, I should have a great shot at being a single digit player again this year.

Oh snaaaaaaaaaaaaap

Best of luck to you, Nate! Hopefully I can make my return to the game one of these days myself, but as you know all too well, it's a slow process. But seeing you make swings today really makes me happy for you. I know it's just one session, but hey, you gotta start somewhere. Here's to a happy, healthy 2017 season for you, bud!

2 years off from golf and your swing already looks better than the mess I'm dealing with!

Am I bitter? Yes. Yes, I am.

This is sort of what I was thinking yesterday. Two years off and this is how you start out?? Oh the unfairness of it all.

Seriously though, can't help but cheer the return.

Thanks everyone and yeah I understand these comments in jest are in good fun.  Here is the thing I think needs to be said about why my swing is still pretty much the same.  And Erik has talked about this before.  When you work on something very hard for a long time one priority piece at a time you do things until you cannot get them wrong anymore.  Don't do things just until you can do it right.  Two years was not enough time for that muscle memory or whatever you want to call it to change much.  I spoke with Erik over these past two years about how I knew in my mind that the swing is still going to be pretty similar.

I used to work pretty hard for that Monkey badge and maybe it's part of why I also destroyed my wrist unfortunately.  I still have some issues in the swing I see need to be worked on.  I can tell I still have the same tendencies towards overdraws from hitting just a few balls yesterday.  For now I am just elated and feel blessed to be hitting golf balls again.

@nevets88 I am not sure I get the reference but I can look it up, and thank you.

Yeah that one should not have gone over my head.  :-)  Thank you. I'll blame it on a crazy day at work without power.

Two years off and your swing is still way prettier than mine!

Is the all wrist/forearm thing an injury prevention thing, or is that a fix to some previous problem you've had for a while?

It could help the wrist from becoming injured again in the same place where I had the surgery.  I am just trying to avoid all of this happening again.  Thanks for the compliment.

I'm not sure we can be friends if that's your swing after 2 years. I mean come on that's just @#$%&!*&.

Swing looks amazing bud I'm not surprised and I'm very very happy for you. We will have to get out once you crack open those irons.
