Haven't been on ina while. My wife and I are in the middle of purchasing a house and it hasn't gone as smooth as we hoped. Since my last post I've changed from a Ping i25 to a TaylorMade M1 driver. Iv

We finally got some decent weather so I was able to get a evolvr video in. Ive been working on getting my hands ahead of the ball at impact also maintaing Keys 1 & 2.  I hit the ball really good f

I played 9 this morning then went to the range using the new grip. I feels weird but it didn't make me hit anymore bad shots than usual :-D . I  spent some time hitting 3/4 wedges and 1/2 wedges and getting my distances for my 4 wedges which is good since Ive been struggling with these shots.

Okay, so here's where we're at…

Shaft rolls in quite a bit. Less than it looks here because of the camera angle (notice the lines at your feet). PLEASE help us to help you by putting the camera in the exact right spot. It's not out on the ball.

This shaft rolling in wouldn't be an issue if… it didn't affect Key #4 coming down. But you will steepen it quite a bit. It goes from shallow to steep.

This leads to swinging across the ball on the downswing, well to the left. You have to stall your body and do everything you can to try to keep the clubhead from kicking even farther out and swinging farther left through the ball.

I'll film a little backswing drill for you later today.

Played 18 yesterday at a new course and had a good round. I shot an 84 par 71 rating 70.3/121. It was the best driving and ball striking day I've had this year maybe ever. I had 3 bad full swing shots and 3 three putts. The best part of the round was that i was left with close to 100 yards 3 times and I hit my 3/4 pw (which I figured out at the range the day before thanks LSW) and all 3 were within 25 ft.

      Day 14:  I hit a bucket with my 7i and driver, didn’t hit my 7 well but my driver was good.  Played my first “real” 9 holes.  Sure, I had a few mulligans but I kept score.  Lost two balls in the water.  Had to chip from the edge of the water and did pretty good, just rolled too far past the hole.  Par was 33 and I wasn’t double but  I was closer to it than I would have liked.  I had a bogey on 9 so that ended it on a sweet note for me.
