OP I think you just need to lift more.  Remember to take in simple sugars after your workout BEFORE you take in your protein.  Helps the muscles heal after all that duffing.

If you get that flabby body in shape I bet your distance and flight would straighten out.  By the way are you telling me you have to hit a wood after your drive on a par 5?  If you could get to that 400yd+ roll distance you'd probably see a 6 stroke drop in your score.

Again no offense man just one pro to another.

Hey, thanks for all the replies to my thread. Interesting results, seems we have some fellow big hitters here a1_smile.gif Looks like I better up my game ha!  Does anyone else wear 2 gloves for driving? It definitely improves grip, feel and swing speed. Although some people laugh at me when I wear them to the range; all of a sudden their laughs are subdued by the sound of what can only be classified as whip...me crushing balls out of sight b2_tongue.gif What clubs you boys play?

2 gloves doesnt help my feel much, I prefer to take my shoes off and put them on my hands when im on the teebox. The spikes really bite into the grip on my driver... so all I have to worry about is the shaft flying out of the grip when I swing 100%...I usially just carry 14 extra drivers each round though.

The Internet Adjustment Formula:
IAD = ( [ADD] * .96 + [EPS] * [1/.12] ) / (1.15)

IAD = Internet Adjusted Distance (in yards)
ADD = Actual Driver Distance (in yards)
EPS = E-Penis Size (in inches)

Hi guys, bought a new driver, extra stiff, custom made to my swing style. Gonna pop to the range in a bit and see if I can finally crush 400+ :D

It's about to get real messy

I went to the range earlier and I had a group of about 10 kids standing behind me gasping and clapping after every shot. I had a 100 ball bucket, do the math.

I know what that's like.  Yesterday at the range I heard a little kid behind me gasp right after I hit.  Then he said "Mommy, what's that man trying to do?".

    • Day 48. Got out at lunch to the range to hit some driver shots. Haven’t had much practice there. Focused on setup suggested by @iacas and found some very playable results. I did try to hit a couple of bunker shots after that with much less success 🙃
    • Got a rare birdie on #18 Par 5.  Drive was good and left me in range of the green.  I was @ 210 from the center and needed @ 180 to clear a hazard area.  Green had bunkers lest, right and on back. had been struggling and most shots were short so I took the 225 club figuring back of green hit well. i did hit it well, @ 229 per SS and dead on—kind at the pin.  Ended up @ 1 foot off the back in short rough and lucky for me it was a back pin placement.  Chipped about 15 feet leaving a 3 feet putt for par which I sunk.
    • Yea, so to clarify for me. I do not feel the clubface much in the swing. I feel the weight of the club. I can feel if I hit the club off the heel or toe. When I try to feel if the clubface is open or closed in the swing, I feel it more with my hands, and less of the clubhead. I would classify majority of my swings as not feeling like the clubface does much of all. It feels like I hold the clubface open. In the finish, it doesn't feel like my left hand faces the ground. It feels more like it faces the sky. I will try to be more aware of this, but it was just the sensation I got when I was making what felt like good swings. For the most part, I was hitting slight draws or slight pushes.  On this golf trip, I had to hit a low 8 iron around a tree to the green. I made an alignment adjustment, and actively try to roll my hands a bit more to get it to sling around the corner. I do have a habit of not adjusting how the clubface comes through impact, and I can still hit the ball straight-ish even moving the ball way back in my stance and trying to swing out more.  Yea, my feels are more hands and arms, less actually feeling the clubface.
    • That truly had me laughing. Thanks If anyone is interested Sun Day Red is live. I clicked on the hats, seem they are sold out. Shorts 130 bucks, shirts 120, everything seems to be sold out already, at least from what I clicked on. 130 for shorts, I'll pass.
