Two or more people are "all y'all"

Now all y'all need to set a spell and mash the 'any' key.

I tried to answer the questions based on my early years, such as saying "pop" instead of "soda", which is what I would use now. But the quiz seems to be spot on for just about everyone.

Most similar: Sacramento, CA**

Least Similar:  Bridgeport, Waterbury and (lol - because it was one of the questions) NEW Haven, CT.

**Although, one of the questions asks you what "the city" means without giving a "none of the above" option.  (I never say "the city" except when we are in NY.  When at home, IF I said it (I wouldn't), I guess it would mean LA.  And they ask for your location, and your location when growing up.  Not sure how much they "cheat" when factoring those 3 pieces of info to the rest of the quiz.

Either way, it seems accurate.

Re-take the quiz and put your hometown as Dallas, TX or something.

Very cool. I thought it might show a mixture of places I've lived over the last five decades (including California, Texas, Missouri), but I see it strongly picked up on my first 17 years.

I have an ambiguously Mid-American dialect, though apparently not indicative of the area where I actually grew up (roughly inside that yellow hole in central Illinois). It's also pretty obvious that I've never traveled to the Mid-Atlantic states, or more than driven through the bayou.

It gave me Providence, RI because I called it a "bubblah", which I did when I was a kid.  South of Boston Mass accent.  I am never going to be confused for an "OK or TX".

    • Day 2 (20 Jan 26) - Similar work as yesterday - started with lead hand solo drills with the 50°, followed by series of pitches and chips utilizing full setup.
    • Hey, thanks for the feedback. I do lift weights but I’m also adding yoga or Pilates for mobility and flexibility to my routine.
    • Day 18: 2026.01.20 Continuing work on arm raise during backswing. Starting to feel less weird, especially the slower I go. Looking like a busy week so might be the weekend before I can hit some balls.
    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
