Is the plan to meet out there at 10:30am or so?

My son and I might want to get some practice in before the round.

@mvmac and @iacas, is there going to be an Aimpoint session before the round?

I don't know why I keep thinking you live in Alhambra, but Diamond Bar is already more than halfway to the course.

Maybe we'll try to meet there a bit early to practice. This way we won't be so far behind the others again.

My current unofficial handicap is around 15 to 16, but I would take whatever you guys give me (18 or more?). Unless, you can fix my chipping and putting before the event.

My son is going to start high school tryouts, and needs to get better, so this gathering will hopefully get him going. He is going as an 18, again, since he is training for the USA Archery Indoor Nationals on March 8th.

Sure, we could look around for stuff to eat as it looks like we are playing through lunch.

Cool the closer it gets lets go to PM at that point, ya it looks like we will be the last qroup out so even rounding the bend will be a bit late to eat.

Uhm… It's February 16. Tee times start at about 11:30. $70 (rack rate is $83).

We'll add handicaps here shortly. Cap is 16 players, I think, as Mike only has four foursomes, IIRC.

      Day 25: 1/4/2025 Mirror day. I did some good mirror work with a 7 iron. Once again focus here is on pushing the carpet away with my lead leg. Sort of like I'm sitting in a office chair and want to scoot across the room.  Later, I used the putting mirror on the putting mat. Rolling 8 footers down a straight line on the mat.

      The Top flite Gamer, designed by Callaway, was once an excellent budget ball and won many gold awards from Golf Digest. The original Gamer was a 3 piece ball with a urethane cover. The 2024 version is a 2 piece ball with a cheaper ionomer cover. The top ball below clearly shows the cheaper 2024 2 piece Gamer and the bottom is the 2021 3 piece Gamer.   DSG acquired the brand from Callaway and has systematically destroyed it.
