It will also reduce ALL spin by "up to 30%" because it shifts the MOI outward.

I think Nike has tried to do something like this with their RZN line, at least in terms of moving the weight more to the outside layers. Nothing this extreme though. I'd certainly like to try them out when they're released.

I wonder how much wedge spin would be lost.

I wonder what the difference in distance would be seeing as you can't compress that metal.... Plus I'm not real excited about spending $40 on an anti slice ball. Pass

$40 per dozen is inline with premium golf balls which I'm guessing these are being marketed as.  I'll give a sleeve a try just to see if I notice any difference.

It will be interesting to see how they are received within the industry.  Is it possible that these low spin balls combined with the recent crop of lower spin drivers could actually reduce carry distances for those with lower swing speeds?

I'd rather spend the $$$ to Fix my swing, then to buy balls to help fix it. Maybe I'm weird..?

I had to buy these things out of curiosity - normally I cant slice the ball anyway.

But, if there is something that can help my game (long putter, niblick, 9 wood) - I am all over it.

I can't wait to find some of these on my golf course (in the proper places and under the proper circumstances where it is okay to do so) and try them.  :)

I hope a lot of people go out and buy them, I should even tell the pro shop at my home course that they should start stocking them.  Buahahahaha

I saw that the sleeve was delivered today so I think I may be going out for a 9 hole *or as many as I can get in* round and see what happens.

Those balls are loud when you hit them. Not loud loud but youll hear big difference when you hit one. They fly straight and roll nice on greens but not sure about paying $40 a dozen.

I just got around to playing with them tonight. They are definitely weird sounding. They performed fine. Even got several approach shots that sat down well. I don't know that I'd use them as my go to option, but I may see about getting some for my dad to try out, he may see more benefit than I did.

Are these balls aimed at having a similar effect as the Polara golf balls, but without having to align an arrow?

Price seems a bit steep to me

These basically just reduce overall spin, thus helping reduce slice/hook a bit. I did see they certainly curve less, but I was still able to get them to spin enough on approach shots that they didn't roll out a whole lot. The only thing that makes the price a bit high, to me, is the shipping. Other than that they aren't priced much different than what I use now.

    • Managed 51/41 this weekend.  Justin Thomas went 78 / 62 from round 1 to round 2. He has access to the best coaches, best technology, best gear, and plays probably every day (or close to it)... if he can have a 16 shot swing from one round to the next, who are we to expect consistency when going out 2x a week is an accomplishment (at least for me with 2 kids it is!).
