I played on Tuesday and it felt like September out there. It was warm and the course was still in great shape. It's supposed to get cold this weekend though. I think my golf season has ended.

And where is this?

It's been cold and/or snowing here since Monday.  Suppose to warm up to the 30's and maybe even 40's tomorrow and then another cold front/snow suppose to move in on Saturday.  I had tee time at 8:30 AM on Saturday.  I guess that's useless.

Stick a fork in my golf season....... I'm pretty much done!   I can't play mon-fri due to it being pitch black by 5pm...LOL

I normally play on the weekends all winter long until my son and I started bowling together.   It's no problem most of the year because I can play early enough to do both.   The father/son time gets top priority because I only have a short window of opportunity to enjoy these moments with my son.  Soon...he will grow up and I will have the rest of my life to do whatever I want on the weekends.

drove home in snow flurries yesterday evening ... the beginning of the end.     Cold doesn't bother me ... playing Saturday unless there's significant snow on the course - a little dusting of snow helps putting - you can see the break from previous ball trail lines !!

I was picking up some pizzas for my employees today and ran I to the head pro of the local course. She said that there were golfers out today. That's just crazy.

My depression comes from the fact that this is the first week the weather is so cold I may not get out to play since April. It seems to get earlier every year.  I'm still hoping to golf over Thanksgiving.

Ha... Last week a customer called me a crook.. I am a project manager/estimator for a mechanical company (plumbing and heating). He (customer),thought my estimate was to high.

It's here, and it won't leave till April.

It's coming down slowly but the flakes are getting bigger and clumpier, could be some serious accumulation by the end of the day. Time to break out the brandy and Bing Crosby.

played yesterday ...high of 34°.   Great day ... nice, clear & sunny - only distraction is the extra clothes, but get used to that easy enough.     As long as there's no wind ... then it becomes miserable.    We've only had flurries so far ... nothing to speak of - might sneak a couple more weeks out before the snow ...
