I could have told you you'd have problems with these.  A4 is only good at cornering (changing directions) and the A6 is only good at accelerating.  But neither of them are as bad as the A7 ... all it wants to do is crash into things.

2009 Hyundai Elantra can get 3 bags in the trunk.

My advice would be to avoid a Volvo C30.

My father bought one, and discovered that a small suitcase is wholly beyond its luggage-accommodating capabilities. Golf clubs? You'd need to put a tow bar on the stupid thing and buy a trailer.

Myself...I'm a Jeep man. I can't recall the last time I worried about whether something would fit in the trunk.

I inherited a Mazda 3 over the Holidays. Haven't tried yet but I'm guessing the driver will need to come out of the bag and be jimmied in there somehow after the rest of the clubs are in.

With a Kia forte sedan I have for 3 bags in the trunk (2 cart,1 carry) easily with room for shoes and other stuff. Dosnt have the horsepower or anything but for 20k great golf car

I have a 2013 Audi a6 and I can get 4 bags length wise in the trunk and I get 30 mpg on the highway with the 3.. For the person with a bad Audi experience, not sure when you had the cars but they have changed drastically and are now rated one of the more reliable cars available, and hands down the most reliable European car. I was concerned with reliability initially after driving Toyota products most of my life but the car has been great so far, 50k miles in

My wife has a Hyundai Sonata Limited. We've packed it with golf bags and suitcases in the trunk, 3 people inside with a cooler full of sandwiches and hit the road from Miami to Raleigh, North Carolina a number of times and found it carried a lond with great stability and comfort.

I have a somewhat older Honda CRV. It doesn't fit your horsepower desires, but I can put golf bags in the area behind the back seat at somewhat of an angle. A buddy with a newer one says his is wider and his clubs go ing straight across easily. The Honda Pilot, being slightly larger again, and with options to make it more personal, might be a good consideration.

Neither one of our personal cars is particularly large, but they fit your carrying needs. It really doesn't sound like you should have trouble finding something to do the job and you could concentrate on something more to your tastes with your needs secondary to what you actually enjoy driving.
