Sorry about the image quality. Next time, I'll bring a real camera (would have shot better golf with a camera, anyway :8)) Played with @jamo , @georgep , and @Divot Master . Had a blast.

Played decent Sat with the one club scramble, but I did not unfortunately on Sunday. It was brutal, but I had a great time. I have some new pieces to work on as of Sat morning so I am excited about that.

You and me both. With the way Shane and Lihu were picking up some serious points with some net birdies and eagles. We should have been challenging the lead group. Well back to practicing!! :-D

I was awful on Sunday, too, with a few exceptions here and there. For example, I had a 40' putt from off the green for a net albatross and I ended up net par. I'm terrible at this game. [quote name="Lihu" url="/t/74714/2014-erie-cleveland-pittsburgh-buffalo-summer-get-together-august-16-17/420#post_1042358"] @billchao hope to see you in Edison this coming spring. I certainly appreciated watching how you two managed the course. Impressive, to say the least. I bet it's much harder when you are shooting past doglegs. I'm even more impressed you can find your tee shots! It was fun, and impressive watching you two go from rough to green many times. I know, now that I need to become much more solid with my irons before the next outing! I really learned a lot! Thanks.

Nothing quite as frustrating as hitting the ball well during the one club scramble and on the range before the round only to play like a complete noob on the course...... However, it's always a good time getting together with people from TST.

I counted 29 points that I bagged. Should have been 35-40. Oh well. It was fun though.

Yes, but your (and Rob's) tee shot on 15 was MASSIVE. I think lot of us just laid up to that point with 2nd shots :-). Don't forget the little victories. I want to see a Matt, Rob Thompson and Jeremie long drive shoot out next time.. I out of 6 in the grid would do. :-))

I wasn't counting the holes my points were counted, but I contributed 18 points overall. HORRIBLE!!!

True that. 1 out of 6 in the grid.

I would, if I could give you more than a 50% chance to hit the grid (even once out of 6).

By next year I'll *hopefully* be in the fairway reliably. But I'd still need to pick up 10-15 mph on my swing to catch Matt in distance.

    • Day 4 (24 Jun 26) - Played the mid-week shootout - iffy day on putts as I had 35 and of late been in the upper 20's.   Greens recently verti-cut and they are a bit bump and long haired - no excuses as I need to learn to trust making the proper adjustments.   Overall a decent day with some solid long game shots.

    • Thank you.  I'll cross it off the list since it isn't going to achieve what I want.
    • While it does turn out that both Tiger and Phil are less squeaky clean than I previously believed, I don't think golf quite has the worst in professional sports.  Or maybe they're better at image management.   Obviously I'm not fond of Phil's issue we're discussing in this thread (or his involvement with LIV) or Tiger's choices of how to drive.  I used to really like Dustin Johnson and, even before the LIV situation, we started to hear rumors that he bought more snow than Seward, although I don't think those stories were ever substantiated.  Meanwhile, I did think of Anthony Kim as the "good, bad boy" of the tour for a while fifteen years ago because of his party persona -- and if it turns out the worst he did was show up hung over to play (barring what one thinks of LIV), that's pretty good.  And I'm still happy he found a way to get his life clean. If we contrast that with some other sports I enjoy, I'm sure we could find a nice long list of NFL players that, at one point in my life, I was quite fond of, we get far worse disappointments (to put it mildly).
    • Answering that properly would land me in hot water, so I'm not going to. I don't think that many people would do that. I think that in certain circumstances many people would be willing to overlook someone doing that. But I was really referring to what I assumed was Tiger's transgressions (cheating on his wife) not Phil's.
