Same I want to see the Cowboys do well if for nothing but the sake of nostalgia but everyone in my living room thought picking up the flag was BS. IMO a momentum changer.

I couldn't care less about the Cowboys, but always thought Romo got a bad rap.

I really don't know much about them. Other than a few odd Bronco games last weekend was the first time I watched any other football this season. On warm Sundays it's prime time winter golf.

It seems to me - and yeah, I'm speculating here - you formed an incorrect opinion of how to read my posts, and have never revisited that to verify its accuracy. Bummer. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm extending it to cover your use of "bud" above. I'm taking no offense and reading nothing negative into it.

Huh? What's that have to do with anything?

I said "Dave said it was the worst called NFL game he's ever seen." You twisted that around to say "The worst officiated game ever [period]." From there you can scroll up to see where you continue to wander off the tracks on that (irrelevant) point. Sheesh.

He never said worst officiated game EVER. He said worst officiated game he's ever SEEN. Not for nothing, but he's seen hundreds if not thousands of NFL games.

I'm gonna root against the Cowboys. Karma's a bitch.

Cowboys have a tough match-up next week but they're 8-0 on the road this year and weather will be cold but nice. I like their chances.

Also like Sea, Den, and NE will finally get past Balt in the playoffs. Lot's of good games.

Just for clarification, NE has beaten Baltimore in the playoffs.  NE won 23-20 in the 2012 AFC Championship game.  NE also beat Baltimore in Dec 2013 in Baltimore 41-7, their last meeting

Same here.  Not really wanting to see Jerry Jones succeed, but I do root for Romo.

Oh, not like that was too long ago either. I heard someone on the radio say something about NE not being able to get past Balt for awhile and for that reason, picked Balt next week. Thanks for correcting the record.

Ewww Kroenke nobody likes him here.

Sounds like you'll have him back unless St. Louis gets it together real quick.

Let me start off by saying I am a Dallas fan. With that being said, the game was not a well officiated game. Detroit had plenty of calls go their way in the first half, one that comes to mind was the offensive pi call on Willis when he was thrown into the defender by another Detroit player. This negated a 1st down by Dallas, the next play he caught a 70 yd td. Second half most the calls went Dallas's way, the play everyone is talking about there was a hold early on that should have been called. But it wasn't. The flag was actually thrown from the ref 50 yards away, not the one right next to the play. Their was a face mask by Pettigrew in the same play, the refs should have conferred before making the call. At worst it was a no call on any of those, at best it should have been offsetting penalties replay the down. Every game there are missed calls, in fact every game each team sends 10 plays to the league to get explanations for. As someone who played organized sports for 12 years, every game there are calls that get missed, you have to just keep playing. I remember in high school a game where a guy on the opposing team caught the ball 3 feet out of bounds on the baseline, shot it like nothing was wrong and made it and the ref never blew his whistle. It was a poorly officiated game, why the nfl splits up the refs and puts together new teams I don't know, it seems like a bad idea. Detroit still had a chance to win the game they just didn't get it done, they got the ball back with more than 3 minutes left and freaking Calvin Johnson, and couldn't score.

See this makes it look more suspicious to me. Team B takes the lead in the first half. Then, team A takes over and mounts a comeback. the game appears to be a nail biter, so nobody turns off the TV. At the end, team B just can't seem to catch a break and Team A takes the lead. Team B has a shot at winning in the end, but just doesn't seal the deal.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I see this time and time again. I would think it was awesomeness, but the officials often play a big role in these momentum swings.
