I'm still trying to wrap myself around the idea of an iPhone without a headphone jack, but right now, man, that's just a bad idea. I was fine with removing the dvd drive from the laptops, but no headphone jack?

Last I saw the iPhone 7 will include a headphone jack so you have more time to get used to the idea.

Makes me want to wait it out one more year for the redesign. I currently have the 5S because I like the smaller phones. I saw they have the SE now which is probably what I will go with, but I am very intrigued by the "single sheet of glass" design they seem to be after.

I also like the idea of a thinner phone. As a pocket carrier the thinner the better.

Current phones are awfully thin already.

Thinner = less room for battery.

But I get a new phone every year, so… I'll get this one, and the one after that, and the one after that… The wife gets mine. The kid gets hers.

As I do more and more of my business on my phone I am now starting to see my biggest limitation is battery life. For this reason the 6 plus intriges be a bit because it has much longer battery life. Perhaps I'll wait for the 7 plus to come out.

Also, I now see advantages to the Apple Watch as well, I could be much more efficient (and discreet) without having to pull my phone out of my pocket. You have one, right?

Those portable charges, for me, are lifesavers. You can charge an iPhone 3-4 times on one charge, but they're heavy and bulky, however they have gotten smaller and lighter:

Crossing my fingers this doesn't happen to mine.

How Do You Fix Touch Disease?

So what do you do if you see a gray, flickering bar at the top of your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus? That twisting trick we mentioned earlier? Turns out putting pressure on the screen allows the chip to make full contact with the board again, Jessa explained. But it’s not a permanent fix. It’s a bandaid—and a poor one, at that (don’t break your phone trying to fix it, please). The only permanent fix is to replace the phone (expensive), replace the logic board (also expensive), or replace both Touch ICs on the board (less expensive).

I was driving to Amherst, NY last summer and my iPhone 6 started getting REALLY HOT and the screen shut off. It remained hot for a few hours until I presume the battery ran out. I took it into the Apple Store in Buffalo. They checked it out, scratched their heads, and gave me a brand new one.

They're generally pretty good about just doing that.

We had pretty loose policies, all very much favoring the customer, when I worked at Apple.

Yeah. Their products have been really solid. The 5C was iffy, but then again, the price was dirt cheap (relatively speaking). I may or may not be working for a company that supplies parts for them now, so I hope they get more popular.

Go around this 3 times, you've done a 5K. I see a fun run happening in this. They're not kidding when they say infinite loop. Exit conditions, yo.

Anyone know how to get my iPhone to **** off and stop hassling me with their damn iOS 10 prompts. There doesn't seem to be a "not now, not later, just **** off" option.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

You could update… ;-)

What are you seeing? All I've ever seen was a red 1 on the Settings app.

I'll take a screenshot next time. Basically a banner asking if I want to update now, later or no thanks. No matter which option I choose it asks for my password so it can install. At that point my only options are to install the thing, ask to be reminded later or I can disagree to the terms.  I get it several times a day. My current iOS works just fine and I'm not keen on the changes that iOS 10 brings.  Really starting to hate iPhones, love my MacBook, but the iPhone is really starting to piss me off.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
