Well, Bradford survived this cheap shot from Suggs, right on his repaired knee. Stay healthy, dude!

Karma?

In another game, Dallas did everything in their power to hand their game to the Giants but Tom Coughlan refused the offer and handed it right back. Not only did the Giants not run the clock on that last play, they were almost playing hurry up during their drive instead of burning clock, all with a three point lead. Tom Coughlan may have won two SB's and he is a borderline HOF coach, but last night he was the dumbest guy in the room.

Damn, Philly is a terrible football team. Dallas missing their top QB, top CB, top WR, top pass rusher, and 4th best O-lineman, and still dominated them today. Unbelievable game. Did someone here say Dallas wouldn't run away with the NFL East?

I think Demarco at least got back to 0 today. That didn't help? Lol

Day from hell today: lost 3 of my 4 fantasy games, mostly due to starting the wrong people. Then lost Ina. Survivor pool bc of the Ravens. Sucked at the weekly pick ems. And then the Seahawks lost. This day has to go down as my worst all around football day ever.

Calm down. We're through two games. The Cowboys now might be without Dez until December, and Romo missed 10 games the last time he had the same injury. A QB who even the Browns rejected is going to be their starter for good long while.

Long season and Dal has to play half the season missing a lot of their top guys but seeing how weak the division is after these 1st 2 weeks is comforting.

It appears the Eagles may have made a poor decision signing both Murray and Matthews.  Murray may not have liked all the work he got in Dallas but you can tell he's frustrated with the limited amount he's getting with the Eagles.  Running backs like Murray get stronger as the game goes on, he can also catch balls out of the back field.  I don't think Kelly will be able to keep both of those guys happy long term.

That isn't the problem. The problem is letting Herremans and Mathis go. The replacements at guard simply can't play. This isn't something fixed easily by better coaching and execution. These guards can't be coached up; they just suck. it effects the whole game in that the defense doesn't have to even load the box against the run because the line gets such good interior penetration, and they can play the safeties back and take away anything downfield as well. Then it puts undue pressure on the defense because the Eagles have so many three and outs. Gonna be a long season.

With the Romo and Bryant injuries the NFC East looks like it could be wide open.  Even my lowly Giants at 0-2 can't be totally counted out - if they can just stop winning and then blowing games.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

Big win by the packers last night. I still think this will be the NFC championship game and it looks like it will be played in Lambeau. Looking at the schedule GB has a good chance to go 13-3 and I think that will be enough.

Agreed. As much as it is clear the Seahawks need to make coaching adjustments and can't just get by on talent alone now, those were the two games I was most worried about when the schedule came out...they just so happened to be the first 2 games. It would not surprise me at all for the Seahawks to still win 12+ games. BUT.....home field advantage looks like a GB year.

The poor blocking on the offensive line is a separate issue that they need to address.  The problem I posted about is getting Murray enough work to keep him happy, 13 rushing attempts isn't enough to keep him happy.  He was clearly unhappy with the play calling and his lack of touches, even the commentators addressed it a few times.

I do agree three and out only makes the problem worse, which is a combination of poor play calling and execution by the offense.

    • I have that club and absolutely love it!
    • Have a 19° (moved to 20.5°) Titleist 915H. I just love the club. Beautiful feel off the sweetspot, high launch, soft landing. Versatile. In the future, with less overall speed I will replace my 4 and 5 irons with another hybrid, something around 26°.
    • Broke the head of a Stealth Plus on a warm up. TaylorMade send me a new head but I decided to upgrade it to the new IQ10 LS and pay the difference. While I was waiting for the 8° head to arrive at the store I messed around with all the multi brand putts they had available. I instantly liked a black TaylorMade Spider, not the new one but very similar. The weight felt perfect. Big line in the middle for easy alignment. I was playing and old Zebra so the change in technology and feel was huge. Fast review of both clubs.. Driver QI10 LS. I always hit to ball up in the sky. I was playing the stealth at 7° with a 60g X low flight shaft and I was still hitting it pretty high. With the QI10 playing it at 6° now is almost hard for me to hit it high, with the same shaft the ball comes out lower and with less spin. so I'm really happy with the change. Putter Spider. I love it. It took me an afternoon to figure out how to grip it (it comes with a superStroke grip) but after that it all came into place. More stable on short putts and a good weight to swing smoothly on long putts and with added forgiveness over my old zebra.
    • I have a 2h but we don’t get along anymore. It’s a bit of an abusive relationship - she gives me just enough hope once in a while that things are going to be better and then it’s back to the same old shit. I went to a PING fitting recently with the intention to replace the hybrid with a 5w or something, thinking maybe I’ll be better with a fairway wood than a hybrid. But it turns out the best club I hit that fits in that slot in the bag is another hybrid so I ordered it.
