I think it is a good sign if he doesn't bring his coach to the tournament. Live with the swing you got and make it work. I think he tried to play too many times trying to figure things out on the fly.

No Tiger/Rory. Wow.

Looks like the range, Amen Corner, 15/16, and Featured Group 1 are on now. TV coverage in an hour or so.

I enjoy the stream of the leaders while watching TV coverage. Cool to see every single thing going on in the group, even if the TV coverage cuts away for the fluff stuff.

That gal in the"Hannah and her Horse" commercial is molten lava: they're trying to get us to endure the commercials. Golf Channel is ninety percent commercials, with the occasional golf shot thrown in.:)

Surprised too. They (CBS) typically says they try to limit players in the featured groups - ie, not use the same guys multiple days - although it has to occur some. That said, you can count on the CBS coverage following most of their shots unless they really fall behind the lead.

I have no problem finding a game with a group gentlemen any day of the week. If I had a guest behave on the golf course the way Tiger often does, he wouldn't be invited back. Self control is a difficult thing. Some people find the trait admirable. Seems as though quite a few Tiger fans do think so.

Do you understand how you sound? 1st Tiger is a hack, and he would not be invited to play golf with you. Are you serious? Whatever Tiger needs to do, seems like to me it's worked out ok. You must not watch sports. I dont know, maybe you are at church a lot.

I can't believe how different Dufner looks, I was watching the coverage with the sound off and I saw a guy waggling his club and thought to myself someone else does the waggle, then realized it was Dufner. :doh:

Wasn't long ago a certain young talented role model threw an iron into a lake due to frustration/anger, many were said to be "disgusted" by that type of behaviour, but now it's forgotten, just like tigers outburst will be, it's no big deal!

I was watching extreme trawler boat fishermen on TV the other week, when one guy, after his catch, mentioned he got a "salty splash in the face", now I work in construction so I'm used to coarse language, and I hear this type of filth on the porn channels I subscribe to, but I don't expect to hear that kind of filth on late afternoon TV, I was shocked, but now I'm over it!


You weren't shocked ,you've got hardballs.

      I would like to amend my original comment on the new Maxfli irons. Yes, $800 for forged irons is a pretty good price and they do feel good BUT...I have since found out that $800 is only for off the shelf, standard issue clubs with standard lengths, lofts, lies and shafts. Any change made from stock results in huge up-charges so that the final price ends up pretty much the same as similar forged irons from any of the major manufacturers.

      These were almost all included on the list of Clarifications or revised Model Local Rules released just a few days ago.  I'm pretty sure the first 3 are brand new MLRs (Moved/Wrong Place, Embedded Ball in someone else's pitch mark, Internal OB applies only to tee shot) that the PGA Tour is choosing to use.  The 16.1 Rule (relief near a Putting Green) was revised allowed a Committee to give relief for more than just Immoveable Obstructions, microphone holes would be classed as GUR (a hole made by the maintenance staff).  The replacement club rule was available before, the E-3 (Lift Clean and Place distance) could have been defined as "one scorecard" before, they're just a change in how the PGA choices.
