According to this Golf Digest story in 2009 , he was a 3.

That swing is a lot goofier than I thought it was.  Reminds me of George Lopez when they used to show him on the ATT or Hope all the time ... a pretty good A10 that he faked his way into.

It is pretty goofy.  Looks like a bit of a pull fade possibly.  It is a little hard to tell.

My first thought is that he is another vanity handicapper but with real good athletes with really good hand eye coordination maybe he makes it work. He didn't come close to winning in the celebrity golf tournaments though IIRC.

Eh, he'd make fun of my swing too for sure so its all good.

I doubt he hits anything but pull to pull fades. For me I would probably hit a push on that hole.

No, I don't think so.  It appears to me that the hole doglegs right to left.  If you are a right handed golfer who hits a cut, then your choices are to aim closer to the water than you'd probably prefer or to hit it into the trees on the right or to club down to something that won't reach the bunkers/trees/etc.

That type of situation sets up better for a draw because you can maximize your landing area without bringing extra risk into play.  Unless you do something really bad, you're ball will always be over land. ;)

I can't help thinking he needs a longer driver from this picture. He looks like he's playing with a junior set and he's squatting to make good contact. Also, if there is any roll, a draw will more likely run down the fairway, whereas a cut will run across it.

Note that I'm not advocating "working" the ball, I'm just saying it sets up better for a drawer than a fader.

If your shot is a cut, then you are better off hitting a cut that you're comfortable with than trying to hit something you aren't used to hitting.
