If I do 35 minutes, say, on Monday, can I skip the next 6 days until next Monday?

I would say no :-D

I have not missed a day of a few minutes of work since last summer except for a few travel days.

I´ve been doing this this month, and I think I improve a bit. I took a sand wedge the first day of april to my room ...

A quick question here (just to continue my 5 minutes practice everyday with): to avoid getting the club too inside on the BS, you think is good to practice the firsts steps of the BS with your butt almost against a wall???

Slacked last week.  I did it a few days but not all.  If I don't get it done in the mornings, it's uncertain if I get it done.

Beginning in May, we'll create a thread like this for each month. Anyone who participates and POSTS every day during that month that they did their five minutes that day will earn a badge for the following month.

Looks like I'm going to have to set my alarm clock 5 minutes earlier!

Spent 30 minutes wrestling with the Punisher..  Did a few slow swing drills, making sure my hands are ahead of clubhead at impact.

Almost the end of April and I have been pretty consistent with my 5-10 minutes per day.

Last night I had one of my better sessions, I'm finally able to isolate the feeling in my left foot during the downswing.. this is to get my weight forward first, because what seems to be happening is I am getting my weight forward onto my heel side and then spinning too soon.. So, now the feeling is more like I am getting on the ball of my foot and even lifting my left heel (even though I'm not) and I can feel distinct pressure to start the DS.

I extended my session to around 15 minutes combined with slow swings, and a couple of full swings with the foam ball..

Can't wait to keep it going!

Just did mine while watching Castle. Wife thinks it's the male flight attendant, she's usually right about these things.

Played 18 yesterday. I warmed up with a small bucket and did my drill to warm up before hitting.  Driving was much better during the round.

I like this. Three days to get into a habit for May.

Time for my 5k power walk on my lunch break followed by 10 minutes of extremely slow iron swings focusing on full hip turn without swaying laterally. Tonight I go to the range to get my first Evolvr film ready to upload.

Congrats! I can't wait to see my new 5sk coach when I take my vacation in less than a month.. Then I sign back up with evolvr.. Practicing like this has really helped me ingrain small practice, but specific and consistent..

Today I practiced full swing for an hour using the CLIFF method

Complex

Long

Imprecise

Fast

Failure

Truly a waste of time. I haven't had time to post Evolvr, so I decided to just let 'er rip. I'm fully convinced now that working on your swing without a camera or a plan is a waste of time and money. Just go play golf, then. Got my 5 minutes in, but it should be worth -5 minutes!

I did it yesterday... And I´m going to do it every single day of may. I going to practise how to grip the club properly , my biggest flaw in words of my teacher. Should have my right hand more 'open' over the other one. Also practice the begin of my back swing. Keep Working.

Greetings

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
