There are 3 people in the complete photo. OP cropped one person out of the photo. That's what I think the hashtag #3musketeers refers to. To me, the woman walking in the background is whom she's referring to. I agree context can be lost in these social media posts, but to me, the comment was derogatory towards person in background.

So, it pretty much clearly puts to rest what she meant by her post then.

She's young and immature.  At some point she'll realize we all lose the battle with gravity and that later in her life she could be the "hottie" two kids make fun of in their selfie.  It's her comment not Rickies, so it's on him to remind her they live on a public stage.

Yep, my bad. I missed the hashtag so I didn't realize the 3rd person was relevant. I have no idea about RF's girlfriend (and in her defense I think I did see some pics on her Instagram of her doing charity work), but I stand by the caution to him to be careful if she routinely puts out stuff like this. Don't think it's "clear" that she was teasing, and it can easily be seen as "mean girl" stuff.

comes across as superficial, but not enough info to decide or care - good luck with their relationship - like Jason and Amanda's marriage - I don't really care unless they start pulling a Tiger and Elin and make the news for domestic violence of some sort.......bunch of high school stuff, really.

Yep. Movin' on. I didn't mean to start a main thread on this, but I did follow a link in the Players Champions thread to her pic in instagram, and the pic above was nearby that one. I guess someone promoted this to its own thread cuz it was so far OT in that thread.  I probably shoulda just said nothing, but the pic just rubbed me the wrong way- probably cuz I like Rickie, and I would hate to see him get distracted by any collateral damage from this stuff.

(Hmm, ironically I highlighted stuff I think he shouldn't be distracted by. I'll just shut up now)

You can't see all the comments on the web page, but you can on the iOS app. The comment, Dayum, lemme get her fax number and the other comment chastising her in second screenshot and other commenters chastising her - other people interpreted remark as derogatory.

I dont see the big deal in her comments. The woman behind them is clearly not attractive. Her comment was honest (god forbid)

"Honest" to what end? What was the point of showing off how shallow and mean you can be? Honest is in quotes because "unattractiveness" is an opinion.

So publicly mocking a stranger for being ugly is acceptable behavior? Got it.

It is very rare for a women to have these 3 features together: sexy body, nice boobs, and a brain. Unfortunately she only has 2 of the 3.

Great win for Rickie. That was a finish to remember.  Morning Drive has moved from "Spieth Era" to perhaps a "Big Three" in golf scenario. They admit they are jumping the gun, but they are licking their chops at a McIlroy, Spieth, Fowler era of domination.

Too early to call it a "three-man era. Rickie, IMO, needs to win a major before we even begin that discussion. The Players is a nice win, but he needs to keep it going. Worry I have is whether he has the drive that Spieth and Rory have. Earlier this year, there were reports that Butch Harmon was concerned about Rickie's work ethic. He stepped it up of late, but can he keep it stepped up?

All I will say is this.

No matter how ugly a woman is, someone, somewhere will have sex with her.

No matter how "hot" a woman is, someone, somewhere is putting up with her s**t.

Beauty is in the eyes of beholder.   That said, clearly, she made fun of someone and put it on SNS where the entire world could see it.   What if someone posted your picture, and called you ugly?   Are you ok with that if you are indeed ugly?

Honest but mean spirited, what if that woman was your mother, sister or wife and everyone was having a good chuckle at the her expense.  Would you be okay with someone telling you, sorry bud but your mom is ugly, what's the big deal?

Well . .I for one am shocked, Shocked!, to learn that the model girlfriend of a 26 year old celebrity millionaire is shallow.  This is just too hard to believe.

+1

Perfectly stated.

Really should we expect any more.

now that the 3rd musketeer is identified - it doesn't look as easy to find a good spin on the comment.  I'm "clearly" stepping back and waiting for more info. ;-)

Her friend is seriously cute

If you watch her body language and now seeing this IG post, it's quite obvious that she is very self centered and immature.  I have to believe Rickie can do SO much better. And I hope he does.  Alexandra Browne seems so much nicer, and I think prettier.  This Alexis is just another shallow, gold-digging Jupiter chick.

Maybe Ricky isn't looking for Mrs. Right and instead is looking for Ms. Right-Now.

He will after having his fun with her.  She is just something fun in the sack and he will get tired of her BS eventually.  I have been lucky and have gotten to date several hot women, but it gets old after a while.

    • Depends on how short you were coming up on these shots. A bit more wind? Also, maybe you were swinging at 2-3 mph slower the next day.  I think the biggest thing is not adjusting. Like making assuming your stock shot is not enough and taking 1 club up. Not sure what type of adjustments you were making in your decision making.
    • No one should measure a joint mobility away from that joint. If you go to physical therapy, they are not measuring your knee mobility based on your midline. It is based at the joint. Shoulder mobility should be measured in reference to the shoulder joint.
    • He's using a driver swing, while I used the iron swing. Bryson goes from about 65° B to 15° B, hence the 50°. If you bend your right elbow, you're going to pull your hands across your chest some. Conversely, if you abduct your right arm and hold onto a grip with your left arm, you can see how extending the right elbow as we do in the golf swing during the downswing will "pull" the right shoulder/humerus forward (adducting it, as going from 65° to 15° of abduction is). Even people who pull their right shoulder WAY too far around them eventually get it "back in front" when their right arm/elbow extends. So, such a motion shows up as shoulder adduction even though the movement that causes it is just widening the trail elbow. The left hand on the grip almost "pulls" the hands forward as the left arm can't stretch much (there's some shoulder protraction, but that's almost maxed out at P4). Oh, I downloaded it and watched it (and commented there) before he blocked me. It's what led to him posting the comment in the "update" above. 😄  Single shoulder range of 75°, and that's going out well into the follow-through. 50° Max range up to impact. Manavian's video is bad. He keeps saying "midline" which is just a horrible way to look at it. He also kept saying that the club was moving that amount — also wrong. Adding left and right together is really freaking dumb. Another golf instructor said "That's like saying the player has 100 degrees of knee bend (adding left knee bend to right knee bend) 🤦‍♂️" (similar to what the biomechanist said about squatting). Also, see my post above about elbow bend. That's why Plummer’s alignment stick demo is so intellectually dishonest. A golfer can't get anywhere near that position on the left with his left hand on the alignment stick (quoted below).
    • That makes no sense at all.  so, I watched that Instagram. Here is a summary...  Bryson.... Address: Trail Shoulder 0 degrees adduction. P4: Trail Shoulder 65-deg abduction. Impact: Right shoulder 15-deg abduction. P9: 10 degrees adduction. Rory... Address: Trail Shoulder 16 degrees adduction. P4: Trail Shoulder 26 degrees abduction. Impact: Right shoulder 0 degrees abduction.  P9: 18 degrees of adduction.  DJ... Address: Trail Shoulder 4 degrees adduction. P4: Trail Shoulder 42 degrees abduction. Impact: Right shoulder 2 degrees abduction.  P9: 15 degrees of adduction.  Their point is that arm doesn't stay on the trail side. That the arms have to get across the chest from P4 to P9. I mean they do. What matters is the rate of which it happens relative to the position of the swing. The trail shoulder at P9 is not abducted a lot. The range of that total abduction movement is like 40 to 70 degrees. Bryson might be an outlier. Rory might be an outlier as well.  A couple of points.  1. None of them had any adduction at impact. So, this tells me the trail arms stays on the trail side of the body at impact. Is it moving towards lead shoulder, yes. It doesn't happen till post impact. The right side of the body is moving towards the target, so the arms don't have to as much as people think.  2. Trail shoulder adduction from Impact to P9 is 18 to 25 degrees.  3. P9 adduction of the trail shoulder is only about 2 to 12 degrees more adducted than at address. The arms/hands stay in front of the chest a long-time post impact. If Rory, from his address position just rotated his body towards the target and raised up his arms so he is at P9. He basically didn't have to move his trail arm further across his chest than where he started at address. Visualize that for a bit. I bet for people who tend to stall and drag their arms across their body to hit the ball, that would emphasize how much the arms stay in front of the body and how much you have to turn.
    • Do you know how Manavian is measuring his shoulder adduction-abduction that purports to demonstrate 50 degrees or motion in Bryson's downswing? I know the broader biomechanics research/scientific literature on this suggests shoulder adduction-abduction is only a modest contributor of force generation in the downswing, so I'm definitely not convinced by anything he's arguing, I'm just curious how different people can be claiming to use ostensibly the same "data" to tell a much different story.
