Thanks. That was probably 8" of water, or more! Looks like we all owe an apology to @MS256 , and $10 a piece. That would be close to $300?

Using that ruler, @Lihu , John Holmes has got nothin' on me. Sheesh.

Yeah that's not 8" of water. You can still see the top of his ferrule.

It's a bunker so I was assuming that it is hovering over the ball. The ball could also be sunken below his feet level which look to be 6"-8" deep?

Maybe that IS @MS256!

Ha! Possible. . .

The guy in the picture looks to be something like 6'4"-ish with size 12-13 feet.

At least he remembered not to ground (water?) his club like that other clip going around...

Yeah, how does the 'can't ground your club in a hazard' rule work in the case of ball being in water.  Is it not grounded until you are actually touching ground (i.e. touching water is okar)?

That's what I "assumed", but you know how that goes. . .

Touching Casual Water in Bunker with Club Q.A player's ball lies in casual water in a bunker. The player elects to play his ball as it lies and touches the casual water with his club prior to making the stroke. The player's club does not touch the sand in the bunker except in making the stroke. What is the ruling? A.The player incurs no penalty as he did not touch the ground in the bunker with his club prior to making his stroke - see Rule 13-4b. (Revised) Sorry, but when I first viewed that video and commented on it, I didn't realize it was in a Bunker. I watched it on a phone screen. I assumed it was a greenside stream or lake... As for "casual" water? well, that looked pretty non casual, that's for sure. And it's hard to tell if he grounds the club..

No. It's not 8" (or even 6") of water. Nobody owes anyone anything.

Yes he probably was but you don't hover the club that far off the ground.

Yeah, possibly 4" of water, which was still pretty good.

Casual water in the bunker doesn't count.  In a water hazard it would be a 2 stroke penalty.

Is that a range ball?

I think that's a still from one of those high speed shots. The stripe would show the spin put on the ball.
