Played 9 holes with my son. Focused on the flat left wrist and it seems to even help my severe mishits quite a bit.

BTW, I am not consciously putting tension on my muscles to keep my wrists flat. . .but the act of attempting to do so has helped with my OTT.

Hit a small bucket, making a practice swing to rehearse keeping my chest pointed toward the ground. Then taking a full swing with one difference... After getting to the top of the back swing I changed my mental thought to throwing a ball out along my target line about 12 feet in front of me. It seemed to make a big difference as I was getting through the ball much better. We'll see if I can take it to the course tomorrow.

I went to the range today and continued working on developing a draw.  Today I used the gate drill to help eliminate my over the top swing path.  The majority of my shots were pushes.  The ball would end up 5-10 yards to the right of my target.  Also, I was getting more distance than usual.

It seemed like when i hit fat shots the ball actually had a draw ball flight.  It feels like i'm close to hitting a draw.  Hopefully, i'll actually be able to hit a draw soon.

Tomorrow i'm going to use the same drill.  I'm going to focus on starting the ball to the right and closing the club face sooner.

This is the third month of this challenge for me.  What would be cool is a badge that somehow showed how many months you have earned the challenge.  Maybe a number, showing how many badges you have earned.

Good idea. But… Sorry, it just won't happen. You get a badge for the month following a successful month prior. We'd end up with as many badges as we've been doing this (in months) over time.

I meant that the single badge might incorporate a number in the badge itself that reflects how many you have earned.  At the bottom, it would have the number "2" or "5" or "157".....etc.  Just a thought.  Still love this challenge.  It has made daily practice part of my daily routine.  Thanks.

I know, and that requires that many different badges. There's no way to do what you're saying with one badge.

Hadn't thought of it that way, would be a lot of work.....Too bad there is not an automatic counter on it so that every time you issue it it would change the number on it.  That way you wouldn't have to do any extra work.  We will just have to keep track of how many we have earned.  Thanks Erik!

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
