Fair enough, he's an average putter. Certainly not a horrible putter.

At 120+ in strokes gained he is more towards the bottom of the pack actually.. So, yeah compared to the average tour pro he has a glaring weakness. He is doing what he is doing because of his long game and iron play and if he starts getting his putting better than average or let's say in the top 25 he might be unbeatable..

These guys are going to have a rough last 6 or 7 holes here. You've got that brutal storm coming in, you're going to get very little sleep tonight...winds supposed to tropical storm force in the morning. The wind is what killed Tiger Woods' grand slam chances...it may be killing Jordan's as well.

I'm sure Danny Willett is hoping for the wind to pick up and stay blowing hard until about 10 minutes before he tees off tomorrow.

No wonder that sweater was so damn ugly. It's ancient. I understand sentimentalism but yuck.

Sir Nick should be proud he can still fit into a 25-year-old sweater. I can't say that (I was a toddler then, but still).

Spieth is not making much happening today.

He's having a hard time putting with the wind today. Not that he's struck it poorly....he's just not putting well and I think that's where experience hurts him.

That's absurd. The only thing I can think of that might be more perplexing than that would be if there were, say, any posters here who didn't even play golf.

I don't really think it's absurd because from what I've noticed, if they haven't played much in the States, many guys over there haven't heard of them .. I think a lot don't bother with golf outside the States cept for majors ...

Damn Stewart Cink....why did you have to ruin Turnberry in 2009.

(I know that might not be the right thing to say.....but I know it's what a lot of people think inside their heads).

      No! Is a large part of the human population selfish, apathetic and cuts corners/breaks rules in the name of self-preservation 'more than they would like to admit', yes. Degenerate, scum, etc?.. no!! Most humans/men would not grope a woman like Phil is accused of doing (I think he absolutely did). That is scum. I mean what % of men do you think would do that?       I entirely agree with everything you said, but would just note that normal human beings are a lot closer to degenerate and avaricious scum than many of us might be comfortable admitting/might realize.

Most despicable is a bit much.  Again, a bit over the top here.  Most athletes are probably closer to being normal human beings than degenerates and avaricious scum.  Just sounds like you want to generalize all athletes because it is easy to do so. Hey, generalizing a subset of a population is entirely a human thing to do.

      This is so awesome; my two biggest lifetime hero and the biggest superstars of the past 35 years in golf……both turned out to be the two of the most despicable human beings in professional sports… Between this and everyone whoring themselves out for Saudi Arabia… Used to love golf because I thought they were smarter, better people than the other sports. Turns out a huge percentage of them are total degenerates and avaricious scum like every other sport!
