Common misconception.

How so? The line moves the more people bet on that outcome.

My understanding is the odds are initially established based on the bookies analysis of the probability of each golfer to win and are established to distribute the bets evenly across the board.  If they can accomplish that, they will make the vig, which is a guaranteed profit of 10-percent of all money bet on the losing golfers.

I kinda wish that the PGA had made a pairing with Montie, Sergio and DJ

the past, present and future best players to not win a major {sarcasm}

that is more likely a US Open pairing, back when they used to do goofy stuff

Players play, tough players win!

I'm fairly new to watching golf tournaments. I see that today's coverage starts at 2 p.m EST. Does that mean there's no way to see the morning groups today? I can't see them going back and showing Tiger on the course when he teed off at 9:15 and they didn't come on air until 2.

Thanks for your help. Do they always flip flop the morning/afternoon groups from Thursday to Friday?

I find it highly annoying how the video volume jumps up suddenly when it goes to commercial. I realize they are trying to get your attention, but they need to have some sense of their audience.

Bradley and Kaymer making a mess of 13, Tiger safely on with a medium range birdie.

Two of my boys I bet are off to good starts (Fowler and Lee). My other one (Day) is struggling a bit. Surprised Jason isn't out of the gate a little faster. Meanwhile Matsuyama is killin it.
