My course is ok for a quick number one amongst the trees, but theres no hope if a sit down is required. We don't have any toilets in the course. So I end up playing most the round with a dash to the clubhouse at the end! Very off putting haha.

I played in Spain a few week ago and they had toilets dotted around but over there I was more concerned about loosing places to the groups behind so didn't use it.

when nature calls are we to take toilet roll and venture into the woods haha?

If you do find the need to do #2 on the course somewhere other than a bathroom...always borrow your friend's towel.  Never use your own. :-D

It's always a good time to scan the woods for lost balls while you are taking a leak.  Make your stops 170 to 200 yards on the right side of the fairway.  :-)

If I haven't cleared the old intestines way earlier in the morning, it means a sick day for me.

I suppose stuff gets a bit tougher there as you get older.

Psyllium Husks -- put a tablespoon in your oatmeal in the morning, or dissolve in water and drink quickly.

Helps clear you out smoothly each morning, and reduces cholesterol

I've been in this unfortunate situation a few times over the years.  Highly recommend FJ rain gloves as the wiping implement.  Silky smooth, velvety even.  If I were wealthy, I'd have a stack of em in each of my bathrooms at home.;-)

sometimes my medicine causes some issues so i always bring along some tissues. havent needed them yet. on iffy days i take charcoal tablets and that seems to shut things down rather nicely.

I always keep a travel size pack of Cottonelle wet wipes in my bag. And not to be too TMI, I also carry a roll of the scented pet pick-up bags for the wipes and toss them out at the next trash can. If you don't want to go that far, make sure the wipes are the flushable variety, they have a better chance of being biodegradable and somewhat healthier for the environment.

IMO.....if you have to take a dump during a round, I might call you out for being a non-golfer for not being prepared!!  LOL

With that said, I play "dawn patrol" golf and sometimes I am unable to take care of "Morning Business" before a 630am tee time!!   Sometimes the need is delayed and I can't do it before the first tee!!  On these days.....Uh oh...anything is possible!

Luckily....we have facilities on each 9 at the midway point, so this isn't a huge issue.

If only we could all be as cool as you. Sorry-You do not get to decide who is a golfer and who is not.

Nice avatar. Not. I am reporting it. Because if you have an avatar that is offensive to women and children you are not a golfer.-Yeah that is as lame as I thought it would be.

Stick to the topic, please.

And @BuckeyeNut, enough with the "not a golfer" crap.

If you play golf, you're a golfer.

I second the wet wipes. When my kids were young I would take a few and keep them in a ziplock bag.
I also keep a few tums, to combat the stomach pains if I have to hold it too long.
I also bring gum, to chomp on to take my mind off of you know what.

My home course has a bathroom at the bar which is by the 1st hole. And a porta-potty by the 10th hole, which is located 1/2 mile from the 1st.

Luckily there are lots of trees.
Luckily never had to go 2!

    • A bit of background. The Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) runs an annual event known as "Team Play." It is a wildly popular match play competition where Men's Clubs across the region put together teams of 20+ golfers together to compete against other clubs in a 16 vs. 16 match. In any given year, approximately 80-100 clubs will participate. Each club is grouped into "pods" of 4, and will play 6 total matches - one home and one away match against the other 3 clubs. The winning club from each pod advances to the Team Play Playoffs - a single elimination format - until a winner is crowned.  Antelope Valley Country Club just advanced to the championship match for the 3rd consecutive year. They won the championship in both 2022 and 2023.  Based on my review of the match history from the past 3 years (linked below), they have won 21 consecutive team matches. Keep in mind, these are handicapped matches, so this is not just a case where a group of sticks bands together to dominate the poor amateurs other SoCal clubs. Even if these guys are grinders who never quit, play their best under pressure and routinely putt the lights out, the law of averages still say that a streak of that nature is mathematically impossible.  Is there any plausible explanation beyond institutionalized sandbagging throughout the club? • Interesting that Scottie is #10 on the all time money list and he's been on the PGAT for 4 years. Of course, purses are bigger now, but  neat to look at non-the-less.  The list of top 18 money winners in PGA Tour history has plenty of surprises This list is updated through the 2024 RBC Heritage. To add, Scottie won 4.5 million at the Players, Jack played 44 seasons and won a little of 5 million on course.
    • 43 (6 over) Couple bogies, couple Pars, a birdie and no doubles. Not bad for first 9 of the year.
    • Most the stuff I found on Instagram and just copy and mix it up. a few of my favorites: Clean>Squat>Press> March Around the body >catch >Squat> press I also hold a the kettle bell upside down with both hands on the handle. Squat when I stand back up I lift the kettlebell up over and behind my head and hold then repeat
