So has there every been a player in major championship history to go wire-to-wire in back-to-back majors like this? I know it's never been done at the Masters.

The closest I can think of is Tiger at the 2005-6 Open Championships. He went wire-to-wire at St. Andrews in '05, but was tied for second after the first round at Hoylake before leading at the end of the last three.

Forget par, Jordan might not save bogey from down there.

Could be wrong, but I don't think Tiger led in the first round of either the 05 or 06 Champ. but led the other 3. I'll double check on that one.

Jesus if only Rory could putt, he'd be piling up majors left and right. Been his biggest hurdle his whole career, especially on fast greens.

Day has to be licking his chops right now.    Same with DJ.  Both could go low and easily make up those 3 strokes.

Rough finish for Spieth. Hopefully he rebounds tomorrow and wins it if Day doesn't. Only reason I want Day is he was my Vegas $$$ pick this year. My other was Fowler but that was the stupidest pick I ever made. Never picking Rickie again.

I think Americans are the only golf fans who aren't unanimous homers for their own. Kind of confusing to me.

I am a homer and will be happy with any of the American contenders. I'll be happy with DJ, Sneds, or Spieth.

Day or DJ are my picks.  Basically anybody but Jordan would be ideal.

We get it. You don't like Spieth. Don't need to broadcast it with every single post.
