Landry is now over par for the tournament.  Did he sleep last night?

I'm surprised he didn't card an 80 in round 2 after being the usual first round shocker round at a major.  The guys who aren't familiar to the situation usually blow up at some point

Announcer references the "cheap seats."  Hard to believe there are cheap seats at Oakmont.

I got my Thursday round tickets on Stub Hub for $80.

Did that close up of Lowrys lip out really show a Titliest ball?  The dude is wearing a Srixon/Cleveland hat lol.  I know a lot of guys play Srixon balls (including myself lol I love them) but what gives?  What does he play thats Cleveland Srixon?  I didn't even know anyone really still used Cleveland clubs aside from wedges

I believe when Srixon bought Cleveland, their intention was to separate one brand into "better players' clubs" and the other into mid-amateur, and I think Cleveland was set for the latter.  That could be part of it.  Not sure about the ball.

What the hell was that? Injured or baby birds?

Sergio and Piercy seem to be having fun out there. Seem to be pushing each other. The opposite happening with Lowry and Landry.

Agreed, I think Piercy took Garcia's ball out of the hole, and then was totally into the excitement when he gave the ball back to Garcia. And Piercy still needed to focus and save par with his putt. Cool to see the camaraderie.

According to this http://www.pgatour.com/equipmentreport/2015/08/09/shane-lowry-winners-bag.html

last year he used TM Burner Superfast driver, Srixon 3 wood, Nike hybrid, Srixon irons, Cleveland wedges and Srixon ball. Curious how much of a difference this year.

At the US Open, the chirping of birds ARE REAL... Augusta National.

Guess they were baby birds.

Miyazato with yet another hole out for the week.  Fun fact:  I believe he's the only player in PGA Tour history to have *two* aces in a single round on tour.  Naturally, his pocket aces happened in Vegas.
