Friday/Saturday may end up working better for me, but I can likely swing both. Just gotta debate if I want to drive both days or get a hotel for the night.

The Internet Adjustment Formula:
IAD = ( [ADD] * .96 + [EPS] * [1/.12] ) / (1.15)
 
IAD = Internet Adjusted Distance (in yards)
ADD = Actual Driver Distance (in yards)

Dates confirmed in the first post - August 13, 14th. Saturday/Sunday.

@Rob Thompson will determine the cost here soon (as low as we can make it), and may set up a hotel special rate for players as well who wish to stay Saturday night (the trip to Wendy's was worth it last year, IIRC…).

Players (add your name to the list when you post). Specify the days you can attend with "Sat" or "Sun" or "Both").

Some details…

  • Saturday night one-club scramble will begin around 6pm. If you're reasonably close you'll be able to spend a lot of the day with your family or whatever. Dinner will follow.
  • Capping this at 16 players total (including me).
  • Cost is going to be $75 per player. For that, you will get:
    • One-club scramble.
    • 1 medium 1 topping pizza per two players.
    • Sunday morning golf.
    • $85 pro shop credit (each) for the winning two-member team and $50 for the highest individual point earner for the day. Subtract $15 if you're skipping the Saturday evening stuff (but no pizza for you, or golf).
  • Sunday morning's round will begin at about 8:54am, with players in two-person teams in a Stableford format (below) with 80% handicaps. Whether we allow you to pick your own teams or we try to just balance them out, we'll see…
  • Hotels… we haven't worked out yet. The Best Western in Norwalk, OH appears to be booked the night of the 13th.

Stableford Format (Net)

  • Double Bogey+ = 0 points
  • Bogey = 1 point
  • Par = 2 points
  • Birdie = 3 points
  • Eagle = 5 points
  • Albatross = 8 points
  • Better than Albatross = You win a BJ from Kate Upton

All prices are not including tax but this is what's available:

(1) 4 double bed room $209
(1) 3 double bed room $169
(2) 2 double bed room $139

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
