Right now, I'm playing twice a week and practicing 3 or 4 days. If I was striking it better, that would be reversed.

I voted "A little each day". There really isn't a day where I don't do some mirror work or some putting.

Little work every single day. Big difference in the last two months is I joined a CC near work so I stop by the range at lunch time or after work a few mins to do mapping and dynamic swing work at least 2-3 times a week. Previously range work was non-existent.

I only play full rounds of golf at the moment. No practicing at all. But unless the round is a competition round or club match, It feels like practice to me.

I play once or occasionally twice a week and range once a week, it's a recipe for OK'ness, wish I could at least practice more but duty calls.

An instructor once told me that you need to have a golf club in your hands every day even if it's only five minutes doing practice swings.

I play 2-3 times per week. I only practice maybe once or twice o a month. I live in the country and my yard is about 2 acres. So practice for me is mostly just hitting gap wedges into the pool.

We're talking 'bout practice!.... 10-15 minutes a day on my BirdieBall putting green in the basement.  I bought an 18' x 4' green and can't say enough about it.  Outside of that I get the the range once every-other week.  We have a newborn so I'm not getting out much these days!

I play Saturday and Sunday, and 9 holes on Tuesday, and I practice on Friday after work.  I'm not trying to make changes to my swing, so my practice is primarily aimed at consistent tempo and set-up, including alignment and ball position.

I try to do 5+ minutes a day, but I neglect to log it, and then ... well.

Really, 3-4 times a week, plus another time or two of watching my latest evolvr lesson and trying things in the mirror.  The problem is I don't have much in the way of reflective surfaces in my apartment that I can use, so it's a little limited.

Those of you who do mirror work regularly, where do I get a good mirror for it?  Or is that just something that comes with having a grownup house instead of an apartment?

Married for 32 years. But my wife plays Saturday and Sunday too, and ladies night is Wednesday, she sometimes plays 18 before that,  the only time I'm there on my own is Friday. Some guys hate that their wife plays, but I love it.  Did I mention, we spent two weeks in Ireland recently, played 8 rounds of golf.

Hmm, I'm the only so far that has voted only practice 1-2 times per month, I'm only practicing with a gap wedge or sand wedge. Make no mistake, I'm just a shell of my former self due to health reasons, Reading this thread though, I think more people need to play more and practice less.

I probably practice 1/2 hour per day (year round, on average). It's not always proper practice.

I play close to twice per week.

Play 1-2 / week. When I get time for golf, I just want to play :)

I probably get more out of practice rounds than just hitting balls at the range..

How much do you practice and how is it broken up? 10 mins/day vs 30 mins 2/week? None?

I've been doing the 5 mins challenge this month and found it extremely helpful, but before this I would just hit on the range 1-2/month

Just curious to see what you guys do!

I virtually never practice. Our course doesn't have a driving range and, at age 70, I've found that my back starts killing me after I've hit maybe 20 balls, anyway. I play 5 days a week, and whatever "practice" I do consists of hitting a few chips and putts prior to heading to the first tee. My index is 2.3, and I've shot my age 13 times now (7 this year), so I'm not sure how much not practicing has hurt my game.

The one real exception will be if I go to a course I've never played before or haven't played in quite a while. On those occasions I will go hit a dozen balls or so before playing.
