Phil has hernia surgery.

Hernia surgery? Yes, I've had both sides done, left and right. I had a hernia after a golf trip to Myrtle Beach. But really, it's no big deal. I can remember I was hitting a driver when it happened.

One of my golf buddies had this happen last week teeing off with his driver.  Felt a sharp pain in his groin and had it checked out, it was a hernia. I had no idea you could get a hernia from golfing.

Same thing happened to my playing partner about a month ago. He had surgery and was back playing this week.

Yep, you can get a hernia from innocent things like lifting wrong or even coughing too hard. I even heard of a guy who got one after letting go a monumental fart (too much "straining")....I hate to think what that bloke had been eating!

I have had umbilical hernia surgery twice. It is a much less painful recovery than a hernia in your groin. I could play golf with it and like Phil, I just pushed it when it popped out.
