PGA Value Guide is a Scam

Didn't know if I could mention it by name, but we know who. Many people share this experience.They promise a check instead of credit to use. Send in my clubs 2 months ago. They were accepted and approved 6 weeks ago. I emailed about the check 2 weeks ago. "Oh, it's on the way tomorrow".  I will call tomorrow.  However, they either have a cash flow problem, or they wait to sell your clubs before paying you out.  Said to see because the umbrella companies are awesome. Just be honest and tell me it may take two months

Your posts are so light on details that it is hard to really make any sort of comment.  Maybe wait until the entire process has reached an end and report on the results.

Yeah ive seen that before and was curious to how they say theyll send you money for clubs.Like what happens if theyre value doesnt match yours.

So list things on eBay. You don't have to use the PGA Value Guide.

Again, you don't have to use it.

Good points. To find the real current value of a club, look at auction listings on eBay. Follow the listing for your exact club and condition, and see what they sell for. "Buy It Now" is not accurate and neither are Craigslist postings.

The PGA value guide is pretty useless.

do not some of the retail stores, use the PGA guide to establish trade in prices? Even EBAY a retailer I have purchased from (Mr. Topes), will buy old clubs. Not sure what they use as a guide.
