Yesterday I got clobbered by an errant golf ball. Believe it came from an adjacent fairway. No one owned up to it. Hit me on the fly, on the side of my mouth, while standing on the green. 

Scored double bogies on the final two holes.

Just left my dentist. As soon as the swelling goes down, I will probably lose a couple teeth, and have repairs on a couple of more. Luckily my jaw is not broken. What really bumbs me is is that I am one of the few old dudes who still have most of my own teeth. 

Semi liguid diet for a while. 

I suppose when you play this game as much as I do, the law of averages says crap is going to happen. Yes, I kept the ball that hit me........lol

What kind of ball? ;-)  My luck it'd be a Pinnacle, or Ti-Tech.

Yikes!  I wish you the best in your recovery.  Later this month it will have been a decade since I last got hit by a ball on the golf course (other than putting a foot down to stop a friend's bad chip from rolling into a hazard), although mine wasn't nearly as bad as yours.

like many have said, many well-wishes! You're more man than I am for sure: I doubt I would've finished the last two holes...prob would've taken pars given the circumstances :content:
