Day 7: very short practice focused on getting to the top properly. 60-70% speed swings hitting foam balls. I am going to stick with this practice until it is clean and then up the tempo. This is likely to get boring to read but I’m staying with one thing until I get it right.

Day 7: Went out with my daughter, and played the first three holes, taking it in turns to play a shot - she with a children's 9I.  Mostly concentrating on alignment and pre-shot routine.  I don't feel qualified to teach her anything much, but I figured getting her to think about a pre-shot routine and alignment as a thing seemed like no bad thing, and helped me to think about it too.

Day 250

Played 18. Worked on bringing the new swing feels to the course. Hit some nice traj-porn 3W off the tee on a couple holes, and a few nice mid and long irons, but overall round was poor.

Day 232 - August 16, 2020

Putted a little before caddying for someone who hit almost as many putts on the 18th hole as I hit in my 10 minutes of practice putting. 😉

Day 59.  Found ten minutes, some of which was spent on the "near the wall movement" portion, then I hit a few balls with the slow swing.  Same priority piece, as it will be for a while.  Indoors, off a mat, into a net, real balls (didn't even use plush today).

Day 26

Solid 2 hour range session today.  I utilized the Day 1 & Day 2 of the Covid 30 day challenge.  Really focusing on a good takeaway and trying to fix outside in.  I would hit my Driver then change clubs to try to simulate playing a round.  It was a solid range session.  Irons were getting more consistantly straight as well as the 5 Wood.  More on target.

Driver was having it's moments of being right on target and that cut from outside in swing.  I also experimented with changing the shaft from my 5 Wood into the Driver to see if i cold get more accuracy.  Not sold on that idea and it did not work as well as hoped but when i would switch back to my regular Driver shaft I would hit the Driver straighter then.

Lot's of work in front of me yet, but the Driver is tightening up, the misses are not as drastic.  Still getting to far right on misses but I did not pull the ball once.

Day 8:  same as yesterday except I’m really focusing on why my shoulders flatten their tilt towards the top of the backswing. It seems I stand up a bit and flatten out and then during the downswing I drop them back to the original incline. It seems by focusing on really straightening my right leg I do a better job of maintaining the tilt of my shoulders.

Day 15:  Rather than move on to a new part of the swing, I figured its better to make sure Im fully implementing the 2 drills I worked on last week.  So i repeated the Day 22 and Day 1 drill from the 30 day covid challenge relating to stance and initial takeaway respectively.

Day 27

Spent 17 minutes putting on my matt in the garage.  Using the alignment aids I realized an issue.  My left eye was causing issues with seeing my line.  Makes sense as I nearly lost my sight in it due a sports injury.  I started tilting my head to get my right eye over the ball and my line really cleared up.

Great session

Day 60.  I only found 5 minutes, but find five minutes I did.  A few iterations of the movement against a wall, followed by five balls (off a mat, into a net, no glove, 6-iron).

Day 251

Still working on the priority piece with several new feels. Not sure which one works best as far as achieving the desired position/movement so I recorded a few swings with each one and sent to my instructor to get some input on which one looks best, and that’s the feel I’ll stick with.

Ball striking was pretty good today, but mostly making slow, 9-3 swings.
