8 reps with a minute pause in between full swing reps with a couple less aggressive warmup reps. Stretching hamstrings. Working on slow movements through the transition. Tai Chi slow with weight shift incorporated into movement. Also keeping the lead wrist well pronated. Full coil backswing, lead arm straight getting past parallel. I have to focus on retaining the C-spine posture. Used a roller to work the upper back/shoulders,Β lats, glutes and calve muscles.Β UsingΒ a swing sequencing version 3 club simulator with a swing speed radar to do the above. will be using this from now on with or without SS monitor.

Driving range, hit balls, driver is kind of wild. Started using my MP32 with heavierΒ shafts. Irons are good up to 4i and I can almost hit the 3i reasonably.

Day 65

10 minutes putting on the metal ruler at 3 feet and without at 3-6 feet. Working on bead and speed.

I worked on a smaller slower stroke on the ruler. Where I have been sending it down at a pretty good clip, I worked on

a slower pace today. There are putts at my course in season thatΒ break 18 inches or more in 3 feet, and the stroke is just a

breath to get it started on line.

From there, it was 20-30 yard pitches. Same focus as my chips.Β

My distances in the chips, and pitches included landing spots.Β

3/7/18:

Day 341:

I took another break from my full swing stuff this morning. I worked on a "pitching" motion. For shots in that 30-50 yard range that I struggle with at time... I'm up with Alina getting her ready for school, so I'm working on that while waiting for the school bus, so about 15 minutes or so. I should probably watch Erik's "Quickie Pitching Video" whilst I'm on the laptop... So I figure I'll get my post done for the day.

24 days to one full year.

Since we're into my 12th month in a row, I will post the number of days until I hit one year, in my post. Although as you probably can tell, I hit 365 consecutive days on March 31.

Day 66

I spent 15 minutes putting 3-7 feet. Working on aim and stroke. I used the metal 3 foot ruler for a few, then moved out to 4,5,6 and 7 feet. I experimented with my feet slightly open but shoulders and chest square, with some positive results.

Day 66.

Nothing special this morning. About 15 minutes of me swinging my Kallassy club. Only focus was to losen up. Have a some what busy day ahead of me. Some post road trip stuff to take care of. Going to try and squeeze in a few holes this afternoon on my home course. I have played a lot of golf the past few weeks. (16.5 rounds). Might just take it easy for a couple of days.Β

    • Played Sunday and implemented the Mayo spinner. Hit my second shot long and left on three to a bare lie. I have seen this shot to a tucked pin but I don’t swing across it enough and hit it too far with a ton of spin but it rolled into the bunker. I pulled my approach short and left on ten to a horrible lie with about 3’ of rise to a tucked pin maybe 5’ on the green. Ball is in a damp lie with debris behind and in front of the ball. Hit it to 3.5’ but horseshoed the putt around the right edge, which was a common miss. I hooked my tee shot into an unplayable lie in the hazard on the left side of the par 5 16th. Hit a great recovery that rolled to about 45 yards short of the back right pin. Hit the spinner over a bumpy green that rolled just over the ridge to 3’. Sank the straight 2.5’ putt. Felt like I had good control of these shots!
