Practiced chipping today for about ten minutes or so, though my 14 week old kitten Bootsie, was doing her best Andrei Vasileskiy (sp) impression, while I was practicing it.

Day 101 (7/16/21) - 9-hole league tonight. I shot a 46 which was OK, but could/should have been 3-4 strokes better if I had not hacked up 2 of the easier holes on the course. Chipping was definitely off tonight and I only hit two fairways (of 6).

Day 20 (16 Jul 21) - easy swings on the beach today with the “navigate the sand”walking club (an old Spalding 9i) that helps me stay stable while walking the sand.  Have homework for tomorrow- wife did a “live” photo of me with the driver yesterday (unbeknownst to me) and I saw my nemesis in action - failure to fully rotate in the downswing and the chicken wing left arm as I came thru to finish….

Day 21 (17 Jul 21) - wound up at the local putt-putt course while at the beach.  A fun place to think about “the dough” part of the game.  Really like thinking about what I am “seeing” on the greens…does it break left or right, the tiers, pace of ball to hole, etc.  Good round of fun of no pressure putting

Day 102 (7/17/21) - A. s noted in yesterday's entry, my chipping was off last night. Something was missing during warmup, so today I did around 30-minutes with the Orange Whip wedge, focusing on a smooth chipping motion and distance control.

Day 143.  I redid day 3's quarantine drill aiming to be more engaged (I'm not sure this is the right description;  see that thread).  I then did some parts of day 4 again, as today was going to be day 5.  And it was;  so far, this is my favorite of the drills (so fitting to find something I love as part of a "day 143"), and I can easily see this one becoming part of my regular practice.  It feels different from how I hit balls normally at impact, so I am guessing that this would improve me.  On the other hand, I can't quite get to A4 without going A1-A3 first, so the drill took me a bit longer than planned, which is not a problem.  Videos are processing, will upload later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Day 103 (7/18/21) -  About 20 minutes in the yard (i) chipping motion with my 58* wedge and a real ball trying to duplicate the feeling of the Orange Whip wedge from yesterday and (ii) 9 to 5 shots with the same wedge and a whiffle ball to work on full swing motion.
