Good sign he was able to rebound from the bad holes.

Is today's scoring average higher than yesterday's? Seems like the conditions are deff tougher.

Please report back on this in the movies and film thread, it's on my short list for movies to actually shell out theater money for.  Kinda want to read the book first though...

Can't say I'd wear that shirt of Tiger's but hopefully if he feels good he'll play good.

ANNIHILATION IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!

Tiger looks good. “But what if he wins...” ;-)

Well, since courses are closed in CO due to snow, I guess I know what I will be doing this weekend.  Watch golf on TV on weekend.  I was going to go snowboarding tomorrow, as I am flying back home early in the morning, but I think I will take it easy and just watch golf.

It's been a long time since I watch golf on a weekend.

Well done Tiger. He will win again this year, is getting where he needs to be to to win again.

He must be feeling good now. Playing at home in Florida, being close to the top of the leaderboard, being able to grind out pars, pick up a few birdies. Especially in the wind. If I've learned anything it's that wind can quickly make your bad shots terrible. If you're not able to control the ball flight and be able to play with the wind, you'll have a tough time. He's playing pretty good. Even said he was happy with being able to control the traj.

Winds will still be up to 10-15 mph today, so pars will be good. Only 13 players shooting red numbers yesterday.

Two irons off the tee, two fairways, two greens, two 25' putts, two pars.

He's not super thrilled by his approach shots, but a decent start. Par 5 up next. He's yet to make a birdie on a par 5 this week.

Two good young-ish Americans at the top of the leaderboard, Luke List & Jamie Lovemark. Both of these guys are seeking their first PGA Tour win, it would be great to see one of them check that box this week.

I've been following List as He just happens to turn up whenever I watch pro golf in person. He hits it so far and high.

Rory Sabbatini. He fell off the face of the earth from my pov. Only casually follow the tour.

Assuming he stays healthy, I think Tiger wins this year. His swing looks really freakin good right now.

In the early going today, Sabbatini & Justin Thomas have made the biggest moves up to the top of the leaderboard.

    • 26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.
    • Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
