That’s cool! Too bad you won’t get to see Spieth or Rory...but plenty of others to take in!

Personal OOPS!

The 2018 Travelers-Hartford playing dates should be June 21-24.

If the admins here can correct my original post above, then afterwards delete this one I'd be most thankful.

Koepka near the top again. Wonder how many times a player has won a major and then won a smaller event the following week? I would imagine it’s very few as most players don’t play the week following a major win and those who do usually have massive fatigue and don’t perform well. Maybe it was more common in the old days but I’m curious in modern day if it’s been done.

The Big Names with Big Games are taking it deep in Connecticut today boys. Currently a 3 way tie for the lead at 7 under with Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, & Zach Johnson.

How do you do?

Koepka got as low as 5-under, then gave some strokes back and wound up with a 2-under-68. He says he needs a nap!

I would imagine thats from celebration.  Lol.  I don’t follow afterwards but I don’t think the media demand is quite the same for the US Open champ as it is for the Masters champ.

good to see Jordan play well, hope he keeps it up and Zach they’re are two of my favorite players on tour

There was a squirrel visiting Rory on the first tee today.  No word yet if it's Tiger's squirrel friend.

Paul Casey hit his last five greens in regulation yesterday and today hit all 18, for 23 consecutive.  But putting is the key statistic to winning, right? ;-)

Okay, I know it's been done before, because I know Dave W did it when he set a course record. How often does it happen on tour?

Casey is the man to catch on Sunday.

BTW -- Someone at CBSSPORTS-dot-COM made an interesting typo on Casey's Saturday round just now. Take a look at the attached screenshot then do the math. Casey's true aggregate for three rounds is 16-under-194, including Saturday's 8-under-62. But if you were to believe the typo error, then after an 8-under-60, Casey's 3-round aggregate would be 16-under-188 !!! C'Mon guys, he's good, but not THAT good.

    • No rain while I was out (9am to 11:30am). Fairly pleasant for a late November day in the Mitten.
    • Day 56 - 2024-11-25 Did the BAD Challenge and hit a bunch more other little shots. This was one of the closer shots.
    • 70 today. The number looks good but, the course is a par 67 (5,110 yards, 64.3/115.). While the 70 took quite a few good shots to achieve, I am not counting that as shooting my age.
    • Played our town’s executive course this morning. Everything is closing but for now Huron Hills remains open. #13 is shaped like an upside down backwards L (dogleg left). Only 231 yard par 4. Dogleg has a tree guarding the corner and a sand bunker guards the green for those cutting the dogleg. Tiny green. About 10 years ago or more I would try to cut the dogleg. The hole is so short that even if one tangled with the tree or was bunkered, par was likely and birdie was still on the table. Now in my 70’s, I just hit it straight and try to wedge it close for birdie. Today I screwed up and pulled my drive. I wandered around a bit when my ball was not in the bunker. Finally located it on the approach to the green. Almost chipped in and tapped in the 2 inches for birdie. Best unintentional shot of the week. 😲
